"Called in with my wife on a Saturday afternoon, only two other people there and some young men taking pictures of prepared dishes, for publicity I imagine. Greeted warmly by a smiling young Thai gentleman who took our order of Seafood Bucket and Mixed Seafood Platter. We waited patiently for nearly an hour for our food, we thought it worthwhile to have lovely, freshly prepared dishes. Well, apart from being cold the fried Octopus or Squid in my seafood platter was non existent, it was just cold batter! My fish was cooked beautifully but I expected it to be steamed in Thai spices which it wasn't, although I did have a little pot of sweet chilli sauce. There was no spicey dressing on my food which sadly resulted in a rather bland dish. My wife said the meat in her crab claws was dry and overcooked, such a shame! Crab meat should be sweet, moist and succulent. We love seafood and we love Thai food. We were so looking forward to tucking in to mouthwatering food but on this occasion it didn't happen. I so much wanted to write a glowing review because the staff are so nice but this is an honest account of our visit. We would probably give it another try with different dishes."

"Absolutely love it at Kuku. It isn't like any other restaurant in Plymouth. From the decor to the service I am always so impressed. All of the staff and chefs are always so happy and friendly and talk you through the menu which puts everyone at ease. The food always looks incredible and is so impressive. I've dined as a two and in a group of 9 and the food and service have always been incredible. I'm in all the time, from lunch to dinner and could eat it for every meal! I'm sure i'll be in again soon."
