"BEST TACOS IN RENO HANDS DOWN! We love coming back to Mexcal time and time again for the incredible avenue tacos and refreshing margaritas. Atmosphere: The restaurant is very nice, with a main dining room, and an enclosed patio to protect you from the elements. The service is very fast (they know to return frequently with water if you have ordered something spicy! Drinks: I have only ever had a pineapple jalapeno margarita here, but it is so delicious, and enough to share as well! Food: This is where you can pick choose and mix match some of your favorite taco flavors. There are so many to choose from, it is so difficult to make a decision. If I am REALLY hungry, I will order 3, but 2 is usually enough to satisfy me. They really stuff them, so be prepared for taco filling coming out of the back! Here are some of the tacos I have tried: Octopus, Lengua, Shrimp, Al Pastor, Carne Asada, Grilled Mushrooms, Spicy Lamb, and Short Rib. They are all so good, I don't know which I like best! I have also had the Beef Birria, which is delicious, but very rich and filling. I recommend MexCal above all other Mexican spots in Reno, and will be back soon!"

"My favorite Sushi spot in Reno. Sushi is about on par with other places in town...But the service is the best! I have unwanted dietary restrictions and they are flexible to the point it makes me feel bad. I usually sit up at the counter and let whoever is there know what I cant have and when I order something they always flex around my needs and let me know if something has something I shouldn't have.... Absolutely fantastic place!!UPDATE:Since I can't leave another review I will leave thisI have been here five times since my last review and even brought my father for his first Sushi experience. This is easily my favorite Sushi place in Reno and I feel bad going anywhere else..Staff is always amazing and the food is great. Coming here is the easiest decision to make when I am thinking Sushi."

"Excellent service. A very industrial feel. A bit noisy. Although the portions were quite small, they were very tasty and presented well. The wine was marked up to high for my taste. Lots of attention to bacon and pig products but of course who doesn't like bacon. I would recommend this restaurant to any foodie."

"If you ever had real Peruvian food, this tastes nothing like it. I travelled to Peru 5 times and my husband is Peruvian and it is very sad that the only Peruvian restaurant in Reno has terrible representation of Peruvian cuisine. Do not recommend.Food: 1/5"

"I really liked this place but yesterday I went in, ate a salmon bowl and afterwards I started feeling extremely nauseous and sick. 100% food poisoning that I’m still feeling as I’m writing this. Please be careful! I’m never going to this poke place again."

"I have to say this sushi bar is the most incredible and the most delicious place to get sushi in Reno. I highly recommend it over every sushi bars in the Reno area. I want to take this time to thank each and everyone. I want to extend just how grateful I am to everybody who works in this restaurant. They helped me today due to the fact that I was having a severe allergic reaction to the avocados. I should have noticed that the salmon skin roll came with avocados on it. I want to thank our waiter on how amazing he was. He ran around to see if he could find any allergie pills to give me, They did not have any. Thank you for helping my husband and I leave as quickly as we did. I greatly appreciate everything you all did to help us. I want to apologize for not seeing that on the menu it clearly states that the samon skin roll does come with avocado on it. You guys always grashly acomdate me and pay attention to when my husband writes it nexts to my rolls that no avocado. My husband always tells you guys it when you pick up our order that i am extremely allergic to them. You guys always make sure that the wonderful cooks know not to put them on my food. I just wanted to say thank you all so very much. I truly hope that all your bosses know that I'm so grateful for you all. I can not wait until the next time I get to thank you all in person.
