"We walked from El Medano, and were pretty hungry and thirsty when we arrived here. This little bar provided us with just what we wanted, a toasted ham and cheese sandwich and a beer. The person behind the bar was pleasant and friendly. We found a seat at the back of the cafe (although we could have had a bar stool if we had wanted). It's so nice to find somewhere like this after a hot, exhausting walk."

"We're just back from a 2 week stay in San Miguel de Abona. Ate in Il Moca 3 or 4 times and what a place! Every dish on the menu in this cracking Italian restaurant is cooked from scratch and tastes amazing. The pizza is...the best we've had on the island the seafood is so fresh it's practically still wriggling on the plate. I mentioned the day before I left for home that I hadn't had rabbit yet, and it wasn't on the Il Moca menu. Giuseppe, the owner chef told me to come back for lunch the day I was leaving and he'd cook it for me. He did. And I left happy with rabbit in my tummy. This place is brilliant. The staff are friendly and funny. The food is cooked with honesty, flair and respect for the ingredients. And it tastes amazing. Go. You won't regret it."
