"This place is located on a smaller square in the city. It is a little quieter here (except on weekends), so it is easy to get a table on weekday. There are seats inside as well as a good number of tables outside. The menu is not very...long, but there are some classic tapas options on it. Went for some anchovies, Patata Bradvas, Morcilla and Oktopus. Potatoes were good, beautiful and filled. Sardelles were nice, but not great. Morcilla wasn't as expected. Was more of a stew and pretty sweet. I prefer a classic Morcilla. The best item in the menu (over 10 Euro though) was definitely the octopus. Fantastic, fresh, perfectly cooked. It was so good that we came back the other night for more. Some cava, white or red with it. A glass of wine here is really good value. The staff was really nice and friendly and our bulldog was welcome inside and outside. Not the best in town, but still very nice and pleasant."

"Very nice terrace in Santoña to have a drink. We ordered anchovies, scallops and half a grill of meat that was all very good. The scallops were good but they were brought to us cold inside, we asked them to be returned to us and without a problem, although a slight vinegar taste was not the best in our taste. The anchovies were incredible, without a doubt the best of the meal, although we did not expect less for the area in which it is located. On the other hand, the barbecue was very good, it is accompanied by French fries that were incredible. If we return to Santoña we will stop there, correct service."

"A place that you have to visit if you go to Santoña. The specialty is the natural mussels that are served with a short broth of their own juice. Very good. About the place, I can only say that the best thing is to experience it firsthand. It is not a bar, it is an old tavern that has done little or nothing to update it. It's not bad, but it has nothing remarkable, just the morbidity that an old and somewhat neglected tavern offers."
