"We walked in when we only had to eat somewhere before we left, oh boy will not be deceived by the prices. The chicken dish was anemic and was extremely disappointing, the pasta dishes were unfavorable and full of water, taste nuance and any kind of ingredients, and the Calamari was only salty and dry. Not to mention the rude staff and lack of tap water, where the filled water WAS €6!!! Don't come here, you'll just be disappointed. It's not the mood. ALSO, waiter encouraged us to leave a tip after all and made clear that it was not included in the bill"

"Thank you Mazzgoon from a grateful vegetarian! So good we ate there twice in 2 days. I struggled to find vegetarian options in Croatia at first (other than side salads or simple pasta so Mazzgoon was a hidden gem for me! We walked past once or twice, seeing the 3 tables on the tiny side street, not realising there was a beautiful courtyard at the back. I'm so glad the friendly lady at the front chatted to us and showed me the menu options otherwise I may never have discovered Mazzgoon. I had a delicious raw noodle pad Thai that was surprisingly filling, full of sticky peanut and sesame flavours, and I returned the next day to try the seaweed, asparagus and goat cheese salad which had lovely Japanese flavours running through it. My husband had a fantastic smoky risotto that he absolutely loved. The homemade breads were incredible, so soft and perfect with the lovely Croatian olive oil. The staff were really helpful guiding me to wines that I might like (and I did their wines were all really great!"

"Very good food. Went in the next day too. I tried the fish fry and black risotto.My wife tried the Barley prawns and Bell pepper stuffed meat. Everything is fresh and you will feel it as you taste. You could ask for half portion if you feel you are not up for finishing it."
