"We entered the restaurant and we were the first people there, apart from 3 Guadia Civil officers at the bar.The restaurant looked nice, until my wife looked up at the TV which had very very gory TV or videos of bullfighting/bullslaughtering. My wife asked very politely in Spanish, if the waiter would mind changing the channel/video and he very coldly shook is head and said no, with a nasty look in his eye. Needless to say, we left and I returned the look he gave my wife. He was very lucky he had the 3 Guadia Civil officers there, who he obviously knew very well, but that probably gave him the confidence to be a complete knob!"

"We had order 3 different dish: octopus, bacalao and grilled tuna. The first one was good, the 2nd slightly above average and the 3rd was pretty bad. Indeed, the tuna was so overcooked that not even I could get such an outcome with my poor cooking skills and amateur kitchen tools. But even worse than the hard and dry tuna was the attitude of the owner/cook,. Indeed, despite complaining about the quality of the dish, nothing happened, no apology for the gross mistake, no change and the tuna was fully charged on the bill. I am sure you can find better options in town"

"I love this place located in a small square with some other restaurants, boccabuena is a great place to spend their Sunday afternoon. we first sat for a couple of drinks, but the atmosphere was so pleasant that we would eat for a lunch. to the international waiting team made it super easy to order in English, they were all easy to talk and super helpful. if they are lucky, they will also see some live music from the random street musicians. keep doing great work!"
