"It's a nice place to eat good sushi. You need to take in account that octopus is served raw in case you don't like it like that. If you want to take away you can make the order by phone and just picking up some minutes later. Eel dishes are fantastic."

"Food was good, server was pleasant, nice atmosphere. Downsides were the manager having our server change light bulbs, high prices, and changing out the wine without asking (at least it was good wine, the server was honest when I told her I wanted a picture of the menu, but they swapped out a 2011 vintage for a 2016)."

"I absolutely loved the place! The waiters were super-nice and helpful, amazing service! The food was delicious, from starters to desert. The grilled octopus tentacle and the curried codfish with mango chutney were to die for! Everything beautifully cooked and presented, and a very reasonable price (for Geneva). L'Escapade is on my top 3 "where to eat" list in Geneva!"

"Best pizza since diagnosis my (non GF) husband tried it too and said it tasted just like a regular pizza. Lots of GF pizza and pasta choices on the menu. I’m super sensitive but no ill effects"

"Nous avons extrêmement bien mangé. Chaque plat était excellent et inventif. Nous qui n'avons jamais réussi à aller au Clos des Sens à Annecy, c'est un peu comme s'il venait à nous. Pour mon appétit (moyen) je conseille plutôt 2 plats et un dessert ou 3 plats. Prix très raisonnable pour la qualité des mets. Service sympatique. Bon choix de vin au verre. Une vrai découverte à Genève!!!"

"Though Geneva has one of the largest Portuguese comunities in the world, that is not yet reflected in the quality of Portugueses restaurants. The Tasca do Primo may be the best Portuguese restaurant in town, but the food is not brilliant. Anyway, deserves a try."

"After spending an entire day flabbergasted at the expense of eating well in Geneva (so, we went without breakfast and lunch), we decided to be safe and do Italian for the large portions. Imagine how surprised we were to taste the most delicious bowl of...pasta either of us can recall eating for months, with hilarious and Pleasant service and delicious pizza. The food came out right away with perfectly al dente pasta, after we were shown pictures of the food on the Waitors phone. Honestly, that was the longest time I’ve spent looking at a menu in awhile, because I was overwhelmed by how delicious everything looked. Around us, everything that came out of the kitchen looked amazing. For a large pizza, large bowl of pasta, and .5L of wine, it was 50 francs and we left full but not in pain. We will be going back again tonight for more! Thank you! *picture attached: my face when I ate that first bite of pasta says it all"
