"We had a big disappointment when arriving at Boccaccio with a colleague from the States that was visiting Ulm. We have eaten at this restaurant several times and had very recently enjoyed a very nice risotto with octopus so we trekked the rather unappealing road...to get to the restaurant, there are heavy road works at the moment, just to discover that several TV have been installed in the restaurant, including a large flat screen in the main room. We were horrified and the most strange thing is that neither the waiters nor the owner could understand what could be possibly wrong. I can hardly believe that anyone wanting to enjoy some nice food and share a conversation with guests or friends will want to do so in front of a football match. For God sake. Will they all scream and cheer and blow some funny trumpets while customers are dining??? There are plenty of bars in Ulm where people wanting to enjoy a football match can go but one would expect that people wanting to have dinner in a fine restaurant would be spared the game. We left in disbelief much to the annoyment of the owner whom unceremoniously showed us the door instead of at least trying to explain that all customers demanded the massive TV installation or whatever. On the contrary, I am getting the impression that the philosophy of this place is that the restaurant is an extension of their living room. That may be fair enough for entertaining your friends, for free, but it is not so for paying customers. It is quite a shame because I think the cooking is good in this place but the rest is definitely not. I doubt that I will ever come back."

"The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, quite romantic and pleasant. the menù is short, but has really nice dishes, but the fact is that I really wanted something different and the chef really had nice to me and my sister something else outside of the...menù suggested and he got me surprised because he had me orekchiette with zafferano, green economical name cream and white asparagus that was amazing, for antipasto I ordered a very tasty my sister had very well cooked lamb chops. we had a really nice night and we felt like we were back to italia with italian soft music in the background. the dessert was perfect, the service was perfect and everything was perfect. the koch danilo recommend us and amazing wein rosso toscano we had a perfect night, really recommend this restaurant for all who want a relaxed night with some great music and wine."

"So I stumbled upon this place and figured it was more American styled bbq in Ulm, but found out it was Greek style. I decided to try it and the menu is small, but the guys who run it were friendly. Food was great but...a tiny place. They kind of get you in and out. Price not bad, if you are looking for something made on the spot, but not in a rush, then I would swing by."

"I usually didn't want to share the dessert with my sister anymore. Ours have learned from this and will order a dessert on the next visit. Certainly, my awkwardness comes here with my relatives and can rely on me to be looked after immaculately.The armchairs are very cozy and the distance between the tables I find extremely adequate. There you get no trace of the feeling of eating cucumbers in the can evening. We also find the prices full of fair."
