"I love the fact this restaurant uses fresh ingredients, but management should spend time on training staff how to clean work area while working, and how to give customer service with a wholesome smile. Not very clean dressing area. I find corn in onions and beans in rice and just a mess all around. Not pleasing to the customers eye and I don't see myself going back to this store. Will try another one elsewhere."

"Was there on Saturday for my birthday with my family and specifically told the waitress that I have celiac disease if the cook can take the necessary measures to make sure it was safe for me. Well was not the case! I was very sick all night till 3am still burping my food and severe stomach cramps. Your employees should be educated on how severe this is. It’s a digestive disease that affects your intestines! I’v eaten at 2 other locations, West Island and Mirabel never had an issue. There were several mistakes on our orders, that’s fine! I’m thinking I was given the regular crepe instead of gluten free one. I had eggs, Italian sausage, potatoes and bread. I recognize my bread, smaller! The crepe is the only thing that I ate from the other locations that was different. There I had the French toast. I’ve been celiac for 21 years this is one of the first times that I’ve gotten really sick. I wanted to try your location because it’s closer for us. Unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience for me! You should indicate on your gf menu that it’s not safe for those with celiac disease. Linda"

"All the kids came home for the weekend so we decided to go out for brunch on a warm Sunday morning. As my eldest has eaten here before, she recommended it highly.We arrived at around 09:30AM just as it was starting to get busy but we were escorted to our booth quickly. Allo Mon Coco can become very crowded around anywhere between 11:00 and 1:00 and you may have to queue up to get a table so if you don't like waiting, I highly recommend an earlier arrival.I'm not overly adventurous at breakfast. I know what I like and so eggs over easy with toast, sausage and potatoes was the order of the day seemingly echoed by my eldest.I'm not going to discuss the eggs or the toast because it impossible to screw that up so let's talk about the adjuncts. The sausage was a really nice pork breakfast sausage; very juicy and delicious and the potato was something to describe. It was almost like a partially mashed potato that had been dropped onto the grill and fried lightly to achieve a crispy exterior while preserving a tender and flavorful interior to which you could get a melted cheese topping added if you so choose.My youngest daughter had the eggs and pancakes which was also served with the potato but she opted for the cheese topping. Big mistake. Once she plowed through the pancakes and eggs, she was faced with the potatoes and cheese. All in all, the service is fast and sooooo polite and the food plentiful and delicious. If I had only one detractor to say, it was that brunch for 4 came to $73 and change. A little steep for breakfast fare but good just the same.Happy Travels."

"They advertise themselves as a bistro offering Italian fusion cuisine. I loved the variety of dishes available. I had their asian duck nachos which were to die for!My wife had the filet mignon topped with goat cheese and onions which was cooked to prefection according to her. She prefers her steak a little more cooked and i cant eat it that way so i didnt try it but she liked it.For dessert, it got real interesting. They have xango sushi which is a deep fried tortilla stuffed with dulce de leche and rolled in sugar and cinammon and if that isnt enough, they top it with caramel and chocolate sauce. The presentation is to die for! They serve it with a sushi spin, with a pistacchio paste representing your usual wasabi and pickled pears in a pink syrup and they are thinly sliced to look like the ginger you usually get with sushi. I was really impressed!Prices were reasonable as you can see the work that goes in the plates. Service was good as well. The manager looked a little overwhelmed but very eager to please. All in all an excellent evening out."
