"We have been here a couple of times and it was a mixed experience. First of all, burgers are good. Buns are allegedly house made which tasted alright to me though my partner found it nothing special. Overall we liked the burgers though portion size could be little bigger. Place has limited seating in and out but as it isn’t usually busy you should be able to find seatings most of times."

"I've been coming here for over 15 years. It's the food. The decor is plain and nothing special. But the subs are to die for. 6" special is the best. Double steak, double ham, double capicoli, cheese, mushrooms, tomatoes, lettuce on a grilled bun. So good. You can taste the difference in these subs. No cardboard texture like subway or Quiznos or that place in Richmond trying to be like Paul's. Don't waste your time at those places. Come get a real sub made with care. The owner is fantastic. She's like your grandmother. Sweet and nice and loves what she does. Yes the prices are higher than the other places. But you'll leave full and satisfied. Don't expect something fancy. Just expect a decent sub. You'll be back."

"Big Smoke Burger is not your fast food sort of restaurant and I like that they do focus on making something very well...the burger. You do have a choice of beef, chicken, lamb and vegetarian. Today I tried the vegetarian and I had to check twice because it really did taste like beef.My favorite is the blue burger."
