"The place looked nice so we decided to take a break and order lunch: two drinks, one chicken burger and a regular burger, both served with salad and chips, at a pricey 10 EUR a dish. It took staff 15 minutes to bring our drinks wrong one, at first and another 40 minutes to bring our burgers. This gave us ample time to look around and we quickly realised this place was a mess: orders were sent back to the kitchen, tables filled with waiting customers some of which started to complain and staff running around inefficiently without a clear view of who was doing what. After 55 minutes waiting ! we finally got our food : a chicken burger with cold bread defrozen , cold piece of chicken and 1 slice of tomato we have run out of salad, sorry and a few chips. The regular burger was cold as well. Is this a joke? Sadly, it was not. Anyway, we returned our food straight away and we left. To the owner: please fix this place or get someone who can!"

"After 4 years I visited this restaurant (now called A Do Peixe). You have improved cleanliness ten times! I had the mixed grilled fish, served with the unavoidably boiled potatoes and a chopped tomato and onion salad. The fish was good, but be careful about the bones. I wondered when the Portuguese removed the bones in a fast movement while I fought with every bite I must learn! The meal with 50 cl water was €14... Very reasonable. Service with a smile."

"Ended up here because other restaurants were packed, and the experience was just horrible! This is a poor quality place that looks old and dirty, with horrible food and reduced number of unprofessional and very unfriendly staff! We’ve ordered squids and octopus and everything was just hard like rubber! Even the bread, the cheese and the coffees were just bad quality! And to finish they didn’t take cards as the MB terminal wasn’t working, so ended up walking far away looking for an ATM to pay a rip-off for a terrible dinner! Never again! This place is more like a cheap “tasca” than a restaurant! This is a place to avoid!"
