"Have eaten here several times. Was surprised that with a reservation we were still sitting at a booth looking into the kitchen. We could have asked to be moved, but we didn't want to. The waiter was very enthusiastic, but failed to fill glasses of water without being asked. My husband's lasagna was a huge brick in the middle of an unadorned plate. A little salad or something green and crispy would have been nice. Not an à la carte fan, especially when it comes to the price of the main course alone. The room was very dark and a bit noisy. I would ask not to sit in this area another time."

"Definitely a locals place and I give 3 stars because of slow service and cold food. Perhaps unfair to place the blame on the server as she was the only one working the front of the house. We sat in the back of the restaurant, starting in a lumpy broken down booth then moved to a regular table, ceiling fans blowing cold air over everyone. The server came pretty quick to bring coffee and menus, then to take our order. It had to have been more than 30 minutes to bring the food, which was now cold from sitting ready to go. Ceiling fans making it colder. Late with more coffee and the ketchup that was asked for. On the plus side, prices are good and portions are large. We were able to get curbside parking out front. If we came again we would sit at the counter out front so we might be able to ensure quicker service and hot food."

"Found Mar’s on a whim and I am so glad I did! My sweetie and I were there for a date and between the ambiance and the food, plus the outstanding service, it was a fantastic night! The cocktails were amazing and we couldn’t have asked for a more competent, friendly, and attentive server. I wish I’d asked her name! Definitely a great choice for an intimate date, especially if you want to be wow’ed by all aspects of a dining experience."

"From beginning to end, the experience was nothing short of excellent. The reservation process for our large group was seamless. When I had to add additional guests at the last minute, the restaurant was very accommodating. They had our area ready when we arrived and helped us get comfortable. Drinks, appetizers, entrees, and dessert were all superb. Paris and the other waitstaff were friendly and professional. We all plan to visit again in the near future"

"We had plan, go out with friends today... nothing crazy, talk, drink and eat something. So on the way to go, I see this place, I'll catch my eyes right away. I love sitting outside. Had a very nice waiter, we just explained stop buying for a drink must meet with other friends different place. He was very helpful to order. So my friend ordered a Margarita (Tamarind taste me a Mezcal cocktail. My drink was in the fire! Price is super quality wow! Place occupied, even on Tuesday, music brilliant not too loud. Next time we come here and try the food!"
