"Had to wait for our table approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Thats okay. Place was under staffed and did not seem to be very organized. We ordered an app. that arrived at the same time as our meal. Food was okay but not great. my wife had the salmon with a bourbon topping. It looked like someone dumped a whole bottle of toping on top of the salmon that my wife had to scrape off. We weren't even finished our dinner and had the bill put on our table."

"This might be the best breakfast I've ever had in Cbus. Just a fair warning if you sit at the counter: a regular (older man with a beard) might try to pull you into *unsolicited* conversation. Be prepared to have to shake him off hard. Though he seemed nice, I excused myself early on stating that I really wanted to go back to reading my book, but only a minute later he started talking to me again, even while my eyes were still in my book, and never stopped. And because the seats are so close together, there was pretty much no space between us. It was also busy, so there was nowhere else I could sit; I was basically his captive audience. I planned to stayed longer and sample something sweet after my meal, but rushed through instead and refused all coffee refills offered even though I really wanted one. The staff are great and the food is so good that I plan to go back, but will wait for a table from now on and maybe also try to get there as soon as they open (I was there from about 10 to 11 on a Saturday). I only include all this because this regular eats there 2 3 times every week, and apparently makes other customers uncomfortable as well ...an employee deeply apologized as I was checking out even though I'd said nothing about it (which was very observant and kind she also offered to go the coffee refill I had to skip, bless her heart)."

"Service is great and restaurant is posh inside but food is not worth the money. They don't know how to cook a steak right. This isn't the first nice steakhouse where I've sent a steak back for being improperly cooked. My steak came pretty much burnt on the outside and it had some very rare parts on the inside. I had them put it back on the grill and when they brought it back it was okay on the inside but really burnt on the outside. My steak cost me $99 btw. What a disappointment. Also it was sort of dry and not as soft as I usually expect from prime steak. Certainly nothing like I make at home. You gotta keep basting that steak with melted garlic thyme butter and cover it up with something while it's cooking so the steam keeps it moist. Also reduce heat after searing so that it doesn't dry out...very important. Charcuterie board was poor....looked like a prepackaged one from a grocery store. Trust me I've had some amazing Charcuterie boards. They usually come with french bread or bruschetta and not pita and they usually come with fig jelly not honey and they usually have a better selection of meats and cheeses. Salad was average.... not what I would expect from a restaurant like this. Honestly there wasn't a single thing at this restaurant that I haven't had a better version of for less than half the price. If you have this kind of money to spend go to Refectory or Barcelona."

"Tee Jay's is a huge neon monument to America's obsession with mediocrity. I got the the "corned beef" and cabbage. Glad I didn't try the "veal" parm! I use quotes because there's no telling how much processing went on between the animal and the plate. Definitely low grade grocery store deli corned beef. Flavorless. Right out of the plastic. Cabbage (1/4 head) was boiled w/o seasoning, but had some butter. I honestly don't know how they got the potatoes that bland, even with salt. Roll was a mass produced - well, the kind that looks yellow you make you think it might be egg bread. Waitress was nice. No issues with service. But I'm at a loss for words to describe the depth of the abyss of mediocrity of the food. <br>
Thank heaven I like cabbage."
