"Both my wife and I have dined here on several occasions. Simple, tasty food. Portions are not large but the quality is excellent. Although they look a bit on the small side, they are filling which certainly speaks to the quality of ingredients. Highly recommend a visit here as you will not be disappointed. "Best burgers in Toronto! And the homemade onion rings are old school and fantastic. Worth the trip! And the gentleman behind the counter puts on a show placing the toppings on your burgers. He tops everyone perfectly exactly what you ordered. Amazing."

"Whether you are new to Indian food or a die hard, you will love the food coming out of the kitchen here. The flavours are incredible and the vegetables are cooked to perfection each time. It's nice when you can taste real fresh spinach versus canned. Portions and price are perfect too. We have done delivery and dine-in here and love the service. Inside could do with a little renovation and clean up, but otherwise no complaints. Although this is a "chain" restaurant by name, I think it delivers better food than it's counterparts based on the reviews of the other locations."

"Meeting friends to celebrate a birthday, we convened at Merlot for dinner. Ambience was quiet bistro. Service was excellent, 10/10, well balanced and attentive but never intrusive or poorly timed. Relaxed and unrushed.I started with Fish Soup "St. Tropez" off the menu. Tomato based, hearty and accompanied by crostini and rouille. I opted for one of the specials a bone in veal rib steak. Partner had grilled European sea bass, mild flavoured and perfectly cooked. As good as the veal was I would like to sample the Onglet Steak "a la echalotte", hangar steak with shallots which looked very good. We skipped dessert in favour of birthday cake Merlot exemplifies the bistro dining experience and was excellent in every way. The restaurant is easy to get to and has plentiful parking close by as is the Royal York TTC subway station ."

"Three of us had lunch at Royal Myanmar on the recommendation of a friend. The food is wonderful and the service excellent. We shared 3 dishes suggested by the staff, the ginger salad, the daily special and a coconut chicken noodle dish. The portions are...generous, and the mix of flavours fascinating. The prices are low, so this place is great value. I will happily return."

"Stoped here after the Anchor bar would not put on the Thursday night football game. Bar tender was very friendly and knowledgeable on drinks and food choices. I settled on calamari coconut calamari. Interesting taste and texture but, good. I then had the rustic chicken club, wow this sandwich was great, nice Aioli with lots of chicken and bacon, a sandwich I would order again."
