"What a fantastic place! Our first time here while on vacation. The food was outstanding. Although well-known for their burgers, I had the Mediterranean veggie linguine (pictured), my wife had the grilled shrimp tacos, and my sun had a cheeseburger. All the food was excellent and our server was really great and friendly. The place is small and when busy, food can take a bit, so expect that if you go when busy. But, everything is freshly prepared and well worth the wait."

"Good, authentic, cheap Mexican food in a shopping center food dish. I had difficulty finding this place until I realized it was in the bayshore mall food court. as you look at the front side of the shopping center, the food court is located in the glass area between the middle and the left end of the shopping center. you will find los gallos right immediately.<br br>/ I wanted to try a lot of Mexican clips, ordered the guacamole and chips 3.75), a carne asada and a carnitas taco with cheese 2.50 per), and a cheese and a wobbles enchilada 2.50) ala carte. the guacamole was best fair, obviously from sysco or cut with yogurt or acidic cream and with too many tomatoes that are cheaper than avocados, a trick many restaurants to use the same money. the enchilada was also very good with a brittle red chili sauce, with lots of cheese and cubed onion.<br>/ for under $12, I ate very good and, with taking off the guacamole, eating was good, not great, and plentiful. I am always amazed that most Mexican restaurants do not seem to make a decent guacamole because it is very easy to make and at 50% to $1 per avocado, the profit margin is still 300-400% with just avocados and no fillers. my contribution to an excellent guacamole recipe!<br br/>CombatCritic gives los gallos taqueria 7 bombs from 10 ... more bombs are better!<br br/>Seven bombs equal to:"

"A truly soulful little spot with great food and caring service. Having breakfast in a family setting like this is an enriching and delicious way to start your day! Amy and Mr. Amy care a great deal about their restaurant and customers. Their positive attitude permeates through the whole place, creating an atmosphere that is welcoming and food lovingly seasoned with their dedication to service. As a small breakfast spot, this is a one of a kind experience...just off the 101, the locals appear to eat here ritualistically and it's a must try for anyone just passing through! "Ordered shrimp cocktail, oyster shooter and 2 crab sandwiches (a hot cold). Everything was fantastic! I don't know what crab sandwich I enjoyed more, both of them were good in their own way. Everything tasted fresh and very well prepared. The views outside were very appreciated. I'm looking forward to coming back."
