"Ordered a generic General Tso lunch special and was pleasantly surprised. The chicken had very good flavor and wasnt a bunch of filler. The sauce also had good flavor. Staff was very polite and courteous upon ordering and picking up."

"We have gotten take out a few times here and it has always been good. They always cook the steaks to a correct medium rare. Good attention to detail for take out orders like leaving the cheese, leeks, and bacon bits in a separate container from the potato soup so you can add it in when you get home. They always include the bread and butter in your take out order. The guy that runs the takeout and brings out your order to your car is really nice and fast.Recently I left without checking my takeout order bag and they forgot to put in a steak and side. I called and came back. They added a free cheesecake (which was really good) for having to return even though I should have double checked before I left. That was really nice of them. It looks like they are going to move to a nice new building right down the street from this location."

"Friendly staff, clean place but the food was average. The dosas were small (which is ok) but was very oily and seems like they used frozen coconut chutney. We did go to the restroom at odd hours (4pm ish) so may be the chef was on break."

"Dharani gave us the most beautiful Valentine's Day dinner we could imagine. The restaurant was decorated in a festive and tasteful manner with pastel-coloured balloons, rose petals on the tables and napkins, which are arranged on the tables such as elongated roses. It was a very elegant scene! They made the meal even more romantic by offering a complementary glass of wine for each guest and presenting each lady with an elongated red rose at the end of the meal. Valentine's decorations aside, the dining room is a very elegant ambience on its own: marble top table, plush upholstered chairs, crystal chandelier. Service is very friendly and attentive. Dharanis menu is very extensive, with a wide range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian appetizers and entrees. The cocktail menu is far better than most other restaurants, every ethnic and they have a wide range of liqueurs. The food was deliciously seasoned, although the level of spiciness in Dharani tends to be hotter than I grew in other Indian restaurants. The chili distributor was very sharp, even at a “mild” level of spicing. Gobi Kothimera Appetizer (Cauliflower in a dry Cilantro Dressing) was from this world. We all enjoyed our entrees and the Onion Kulcha bread. We were only through Herndon for the weekend, but I would like to return with every future visit to this beautiful restaurant! Thanks for an unforgettable evening!"

"If you are looking for a little swirl to one of your favorites, Pho then you can try Saigon Pho Style. We had the whole white meat chicken soup and really liked it because it was a change in the pace in the taste of quite all the other Pho restaurants. The soup had a nice little twist in the taste that I am not sure what it was, but my guess is maybe added a spicy cinnamon and ginger. Not too spicy or too sweet of a supplement, but enough for a tweet that was a nice change of pace in taste. The chicken was tender and not boiled over. The moving roast Singapore noodles with Tofu was also quite good. We're going back. The restaurant is a little hard to find, as it is bit back and in a somewhat dark shopping street."
