"This used to be a great place for lunch or dinner, particularly out of the regular hours. Unfortunately it is no more. I went twice lately. Once, for dinner, service was rather poor and food average. The second time, it was for lunch. We were two. One of our main courses was weird (lemon put a mushroom cream! and the other wrong (not what we ordered . Unfortunately, we had limited time so could not ask the kitchen to cook it again so we ate what was given to us. Not good, but rather expensive (main course are priced between CHF 45 and CHF 65 ! Sadly, it seems the Brasserie Grand-Chêne is no more an option for a decent meal in Lausanne."

"Le buffet du samedi midi nous a rarement déçu et nous nous y rendons régulièrement depuis plusieurs années.Pour l'entrée, Il y a des "sushis" aussi bien végétariens qu'avec du poisson, salades vertes, ainsi que 2 ou 3 spécialités froides (salades de concombre, salades de vermicelles et crevettes, …)Plusieurs plats chauds (une dizaine) : viandes, légumes, poissons et soupe.A noter, qu'ils changent d'un samedi à l'autre. Quelques fois des spécialités apparaissent et c'est un réel plaisir de découvrir de nouvelles saveurs.Pour le dessert, des mousses au fruit et des fruits.A la carte, on trouve aussi son bonheur.Ce n'est pas gastronomique, mais tout à fait correct.Par honnêteté, je précise que la patronne et sa fille nous connaissent bien comme des habitués de leur table.Sur TripAdvisor est aussi répertorié comme Asia Express Chen"

"Pas de savon dans les toilettes, pas très bien entretenues. Il n'y a même pas le distributeur de savon dans les toilettes des hommes.Le vendeur était cependant très serviable."

"Whenever I return to my native Switzerland this is where I come with local family for filets de perche. Bookings are essential for dinner as it is very popular both with business folks and casual diners.They have a dining room upstairs, downstairs and on the terrace in summer. The downstairs area is best if you can't get onto the terrace.Service is usually kindly and efficient. In the Fall also try the chanterelles mushroom dish cooked with herbs and onion. Prices are very reasonable for the food quality by Swiss standards."
