"The bar is located close to the city. The establishment is simple, yet the concept is coherent. Usually there are six beers from the barrel, currently there are four corona-based beers from the region. There is a good selection of cooled bottle beers. There is also a good selection of drinks for non-breeders. I liked it well and I will come back to my next visit to Leipzig"

"Nice place to grab a bite, especially if you are in Leipzig for a short time. Dinner - Relaxed ambiance, wonderful service and food of course is excellent. Although I found it a bit odd that my coke is poured into their wine glass. Breakfast - nice selection of food, warm and attentive service staff."

"Clearly location is bit hidden near the City center... but worth walking 200m more to experience C 'est la vie . Excellent food and an exceptional wine choice (mainly French). Good names and right vintage. Two owners are clearly deserving better recognition for their works."

"The restaurant is not that easy to get to, but the interior is as you would expect for an American Diner. When we arrived for lunch it was very cold inside so that we kept on our jackets. My husband, son and I ordered different...items on the menu to share as we normally do in a new restaurant. We got a starter-platter with different things and ordered cheese-fries as well. The fried chicken was nice and crispy but tasted a lot like curry. The fries were not impresseing and a little under-done. The cheese-fries were bad. It was like the fries had not been cooked properly but just boiled in the cheese, so the fries tasted a little raw and the cheese not of much. My boys got 2 burgers for main course and shared a portion of mac and cheese. The burgers were nice and tasted good. The mac and cheese tasted good but there is no need to gratinate a mac and cheese with an extra thick layer of cheese on top, as this is simply to much with the dish containing of mostly cheese. I had a tuna sandwich, and it is the most uninspiring and dry sandwich I have had. Dry bread with dry canned tuna and unmelted dry cheese. This is absolutely not worth sinking your teeth into, so I did not eat it. I ordered hashbrowns as a sidedish and made sure beforehand that they meant like the rösti. I got finely grated potato that had been fried to death in the deep-fryer soaking in oil and totally falling apart like little greasy crunchy pieces of potatoes that would make most people sick if they ate it all. As I told the waitress about the dry sandwich and showed her the lake of grease in the basket with the potatoes she just pulled a little on the shoulders and didn´t really bother. I still got to pay for it all. It seemes like they are cutting some corners and that affects the food. Don´t use a deep-fryer when making hash-browns like that. It tasted and looked like they used the same cheese-blend on the cheese-fries, the mac and cheese and raw on my tuna-sandwich. A little boring for my taste and not the best quality. They tried lighting up the woodburner and the reastaurant got filled with smoke for a very long time, as something was wrong with the chimney and the smoke came in the restaurant and not out. I had to go outside and get some air and my husband complained about pain in his eyes when we left, but hey, they wanted to compensate us with a coffee to go, but we kindly declined. I have not given them a lower grade because of this as I hope it was only a problem that will happen ones. I give them 1 dot for each of the burgers and cannot even give them for the homemade ice tea that had absolutely no taste and none of us really wanted to drink. A big shame as we love coming to American Diners and had hoped to find a good one in Leipzig ,but this one lacked the key ingredients of a diner. Soul, hospitality and somebody who cares."

"Our server was perfectly charming and helpful. The food is outstanding, particularly the roulade and the Hirschgulasch. Although it's a Gose beer hall, the wine list is short, but well selected. In all, a perfect evening."

"La salade chèvre chaud en entrée était vraiment pas mal. Entrée d'escargots pas mal non plus.Magrets de canard un peu trop cuit.Bonne carte des vins, ce qui est rare à leipzig.Dommage qu'il n'y ai pas de cartes mais juste une ardoise où sont affichés les plats."
