"Passing through, the best sides try the onion rings. I loved the dip. The showing off platter with no pulled pork. The potato salad and Mac/cheese . I usually hate the sides. Will return. The waitress was amazing. My son ate all the bread pudding and banana pudding. "I had gone to the farmer’s market in WS this morning and spent all my cash and found that I had left my debit card at home, but had my wallet and DL. I came to the Lewisville store; a place I go weekly and asked one of the managers whether or not they took checks, explaining my dilemma about my cash and card. Before I could tell him that I had my wallet, he immediately told me that without my ID that he definitely would Not accept my check. Although he had been helpful to me in the past, when I asked him how many times he had seen me in the past, he denied ever having seen me at all and was so negative that I left and spent my money elsewhere. I did however stay in the parking lot long enough to write a complaint in their reviews and within ten minutes I received a response and an apology as well as an offer of a phone number to call to discuss. I did so and I was told that I would hear from the staff that day. A couple of hours later I got a call from a manager by the name of Jessica who discussed the situation. I received an apology and an incentive to continue shopping at the Lewisville store. We all make mistakes, but it’s how mistakes are handled that shows the value of your local team players and whether or not they care about you as a customer. Jessica stepped up to handle a situation that another player had failed with. He, apparently never learned about the Not responses, for in his first three sentences he made assumptions and told me he (would not),(could not) and (did not) have any options to help me, relying on “policies “ as an excuse for his failure to see me as a valid customer. She also explained that the coupon/discount card would have identified me, as well as my id, options that weren’t offered by the first team member, in fact, he never considered. I hope that this team member will learn the difference between a team player and a team member. I already knew who Jessica was as she shows she knows the difference between a member and a player in her outward appearance and personality. She reiterated her commitment to professionalism in how she handled the call. She and others like her keep customers shopping as they know how to retain customers by knowing the difference between team members and team players."

"Visit only from Chicago and love grilled and smoked foods. Was excited to try some Texas BBQ and was disappointed a few times. But not here. Brisket melts in your mouth, bacon jalapeño popper was amazing. Owners and employees are super friendly, and I left them on my plate. Not bad was tried. Definitely suggest this point. And"

"I don’t know why but every single time I come here, nobody ever answers the red button phone call. Even if there’s hardly anybody else waiting. Nobody ever answers. Without fail it’s every time I come here that I’ve started just avoiding this location. When they do answer, great food. But for the last two months I’ve tried coming here, nobody ever answers? If they do it takes like 15 minutes."

"Thought this was funny. Someone put this burger together in a hurry lol. Also came In with a 1 year old and they didn't have any high chairs...thought that was weird. Overall, good experience...except for the one year old on my lap lol."

"Experienced racism yesterday broke my heart. That being said I would like to start off by saying I have Never in My 40+ years experience anything like I did yesterday. I place a call to this place to try for the 1st time when I got my food y'all not even seasoning could help the shrimp fried rice tasted like the shrimp had been cooked in the microwave rubbery and just blan. My son has spicy veggie rice and it was spicy with no flavor at all. I call to see if I could get them to replace or fix it only ro be meet over the phone immediately with rudeness so of course being hungry and angry I say a curse word. Which then prompted the lady on the phone to say she was calling the police y'all just because I had paid 30+ dollars and only wanted something I could eat. Instead of the lady saying am sorry we can remake it or something she was very dismissive and say I'll call the police I can't sale this food you bring back and I won't be giving you no money back. Y'all she called the police on me for asking for my money back over food that I wasn't able to eat. After all this she told the police not me that I could get only a credit as if I Would Ever Step foot back in a place that has no Customer service or respect for black people. She lied to the police and say I was causing issues and I was as calm as a summer breeze. At the end of the day I walk away giving the 30 dollars because I didn't get my money back nor a credit. The officers that came over were very disappointed in the owner manager because she knew she was wrong . They didn't even have words for her just left. As a black woman I try not to bring race into anything I do. But when you go into a place clam trying to get an understanding and to be dismissed and hard earned money disregarded how else do you take the level of treatment I receive here. Sad this is how people do things. I walked away hungry sad and very disappointed! God's Grace! #Let'ssee#Howlongtheystay$open!! Take Your Money Somewhere Else Better!!!"
