A plateful of cockle in a reddish sauce with plenty of onion slices and tomato chunks will seu you back €6, a big spider crab €25/€35 (feeds 4). Wholesome food, hearthy welcome, it's my spot in Nazaré. Obviously, it will not suit for a marriage proposal or to meet your future in laws and it will not impress a girl on second thought if it does you probably have a keeper and should consider putting a ring on it."

"Fantastic little restaurant where everything is made fresh. Be patient, small staff. Excellent wines. Unquestionably the best meal we had in Portugal (so far! we had just small plates.
