"I was with my girlfriends a few weeks ago and we stopped by Martell's Tiki Bar to get a drink and have lunch. The first thing I noticed is you can't just walk in. You have to get in a line and go through security and get a wrist band even if you are just coming for lunch. I thought this was strange considering they have indoor and outdoor seating for food and drinks. It was a weekday afternoon around 12:30p. I sat at the bar and had a good view from my seat of the afternoon band that was playing. This place has an afternoon and evening band. In the fall the bands are on the weekend. I started with one of their signature frozen drinks called My-Ami Vice- It's a combination of a Pina Colada and strawberry Daiquiri topped with the Kraken Black Spiced Rum. I also added a floater. A test tube filled with spice rum. Once you pull it up and out of the drink the rum tops the frozen drink. This frozen drink is really good and on a warm day it's very refreshing. For my lunch I chose their SALMON SUSHI BOWL- Scottish Salmon Sliced And Served Over Baby Lettuce Topped With Cucumber Avocado, Baby Corn, Seaweed Salad With A Teriyaki Glaze. This was really light, delicious and filling. The bartenders were very nice and friendly. The band was really good. I would definitely return to try some other food and drinks."

"I'm not one to rave over food, especially breakfast, but that must be the most delicious breakfast I had in a restaurant. It was the hash tower and consisted of hash brews, avocado, American cheese, Hollandaise sauce, ketchup and bacon crumbs. It was loaded with taste! No wonder it's listed as an audience lover. The other article was Chicken and Waffles Benny."

"Different kind of review here. Kim, her husband and their whole team went above and beyond on Saturday for the repass that our family held there. They were great on a difficult day, and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The great food and atmosphere made it a perfect experience. We will all be back under better circumstances for sure. "Fist time I tried Boatyard and was not disappointed! I had the Boatyard Burger and frys. The delivery was quick and the food was hot. The burger was done to my specifications and I chose Cheder cheese. It was topped with red onion and tomato slice. I will order again soon and I will try the fish dishes that look appetizing"

"The best on the shore in Years!!!. This is really the best place to hit the Jersey Shore are in years! I have read the reviews of the naysayers and really do not know what they are talking about. We have eaten there about 10 times in the past four months and every meal is amazing! I love the way they do their fish, usually I order the special so it is always different, but never overcooked and always sooo fresh! DH prefers their meats and just loves the steaks and Osso Buccco. We have only had one blimp and that was only with a rather rude server, Patty. Since then we just tell Karen, give us anyone else. The food is amazing and 99% of the time so is the service."

"We just ordered from there for the first and last time. The food was really bad! The chicken was gross and not cooked well, the drunken noodles were nothing like what they should be and had a weird brown slimey sauce. My fiancé literally spit out his pad thai. Very nice people, but unfortunately the food is not good."

"Every time I am in point pleasant I have to get the roasted clams they are just the best. We also had fried zucchini and the new England clam chowder both delicious. Is definitely a place we always make sure we go to whenever we are in town. Also ourwaitress Lauren was wonderful."

"I came here a few months ago on the recommendation of one of my coworkers, and for a rather small restaurant it sure has a lot going on. I quite liked its rustic seaside atmosphere, something I am always down with. It had a quaint feel to it that I appreciated. The table I sat at was in kind of an awkward location but seeing how I was dining alone that night, I managed. I was served by Grace that night, she was very attentive and courteous, overall very good service especially seeing how lively and packed the house was that evening. I had a Guinness that night and I started with the Cod Fingers, which was a first for me. As someone who enjoys fish, I appreciated trying something new. My main course was the White Wine Cheddar Cheese Burger; A bit on the messy side with all the onions they pack into it but it was certainly a filling and hearty meal, one I really needed that night. I had to satisfy my curiosity on this place as it came highly recommended by my colleague and it definitely allowed me to relax a bit. I would absolutely like to give The Ark another go soon to sample more of their selection. Looking forward to another burger here in the near future!"
