"Our visit to the Kahler Hotel was the best choice after a crappy night's stay at the 5th avenue Inn. The front desk lady on Saturday Oct 5 about 8 a.m. checked us in and I wish I could remember her name, she was outstanding!! The food and experience at this steak house was as good as if not better than anything the Twin Cities has to offer or Mystic lake! It was quiet, relaxed and take your time attitude atmosphere. Our server, sang a quiet happy anniversary song which was very nice. I had a couple of JW Blue's at a very reasonable price too!"

"We were in Milwaukee for a convention and noticed that Pier 106 was the only seafood restaurant around so decided to give it a try. Its right on the Riverwalk so a great location especially for those who like to sit outside (we didn't). We had great service and our meal was very good. We enjoyed an appetizer of mussels & clams which had white sauce over them - sauce reminded me of New England clam chowder - very different than what we expected but delicious. I had the stuffed salmon as my entrée and my husband had the ahi tuna - both dishes were very good. I'd recommend Pier 106 to anyone visiting Milwaukee."

"Pappy's Place did not disappoint! We made reservations for 10. We all ordered different things and everything was really good! Our waitress was funny. She has a very outgoing personality. We've had her before. All you can eat BBQ ribs was the Thursday night special. I heard they were yummy!"
