"You should take the trouble and find this place! It is about 5 minutes' walk from Big Square of Sibiu. They sell TRADITIONAL cakes! And because it's hard to find, they don't seem to have many customers. Too bad, because the place is a jewel! A guide, please warm up the cakes (which are made by a beautiful, really friendly senior lady) before serving them, and serve them hot! You're the best!"

"Very close to my home, I decided to give this joint try. Its place at the entrance of Sibiu, the way from Brasov, close to CityMall ...Carrefour..and things like this. The place dosent look that good from outside or inside. They didnt invest to much in the place and furniture. It looks like a neighborhood joint. Not fancy at all or destined for tourists. But the place its almost always full cose the food is great. They have a big menu, with a lot of romanian food. The prices are really cheap and the food quality is excellent. Its not a Micheline star restaurant... the food is not beautiful and its no extravagant plateing but the sizes and the taste are awsome. If you dont look for fancy things, and you wanna it with a budget, this is a good place."

"The popular “soup” is very bad. The one they give us was old, without taste, and let us be thrown up after two hours. I don't recommend it. Even if its cheap health is more important. P.S. they have some... the things we didn't order on our checklist."

"We choose this place on TripAdvisor reviews. And we didn't regret it. The food is very good and with lots of interesting flavours. The serving is fast and the staff is very nice. They offered us cold water for free, because was a very hot day outside. The space is intimate and simple. If you are in Sibiu, go to eat to the Syndicat Gourmet. You won't regret it!"

"Hi! 3 couples, we entered, the waiter told us we would wait for the food for 2 hours. We then proceed to a table that Just cleared. We asked the waiter again if we could sit down, he said we were welcome to sit but...they would probably not be able to serve even drinks because they were very full. I Was absolutely amazed. I've never heard anything like this in my life. I thought he was kidding but he was dead serious. There where 3 waiters and around 22-25 persons inside. Many people got in and out in 10 minutes, probably being told they could not be served. Best avoid if you do not want to ruin your evening. Thanks!"
