"The food was excellent and our waiter was good, however the hostess was not very welcoming and then they refused to validate for parking even though on open table it says nothing about only validating for valet. Also the ambiance was that of a hotel restaurant rather than an upscale restaurant"

"Zocalo was recommended to us by a family member and we were not disappointed. The food and drinks were amazing. Everything was fresh and had a wide range of visual and palate attractions. Each of us chose a different entre and we tried each other out. The WOWs went on around the table, from yellow tomato / cucumber gazpacho, meatballs, steak, softshell crab, scallops ... delicious, delicious, delicious! All dinners came with beautiful pages that were incredible. I will definitely come again."

"UPDATE Upon my initial review management was quick to contact my to resolve the issue. I was very impressed with their willingness to reach out and apologize and this quick effort will keep me coming back as a regular patron which makes me happy considering the food is so good Pros Food and atmosphere Cons Service. Our server (an older Italian man) was very blunt and crass. He was incredibly slow in taking our drink orders and delivering them. However the most disappointing part of the night which really ruined my experience was when I ate a dish he told me was “very spicy” during the order process and when it came very bland I asked him why and he said “Oh yeah I noticed that they didn’t add the pepper to it and I asked and they said they were out of it”. So I responded “well why didn’t you tell me that before delivering the dish I would’ve ordered something else”. He then said “uh, yeah sorry”. Then he had the audacity to charge me for the dish on my bill!! I really want to like this restaurant but unless I hear back from management I doubt I’ll be back again"

"The MOA hotel is a bit run down, not very fancy, but the food speaks for itself. The staff was great and one thing that really stood out was their general knowledge of the menu. The service was quick and attentive. Pasta was cooked perfectly; The sauce was better than expected and the salad was fresh with a mixed selection of vegetables ... I would go back! FYI /// Skip the bruschetta, not very well !!! It is made with grilled bread (not Gallic) cold grilled onion and sausage or cheese ..."
