"An institution on Queensway for over 45 years, where my dad used to pick dinner from here! This is a classic, no frills fish and chips diner. The fish was fresh and had a nice ratio of batter to fish. Fries were of the fairly run of the mill, thick cut pub variety. Portion to price ratio, I would have liked to see a bigger piece of fish (ordered the halibut for $18 (1 piece of halibut, fries and a drink .Atmosphere wise, it appears the decor was maintained since the late 70s (maybe a refurbishment to keep the look and feel since then? . It's no date place, yet there is still table service.If half stars were possible, I would give this a solid 3.5 star rating for the food. Better fish and chips can be found elsewhere, yet this will still satisfy your craving."

"SO tasty! Went here today with my boyfriend and we got the Chubster (maybe? , which is something I would have never tried if the employee hadn't suggested it. It was a different and delicious flavour combination. We'll definitely be coming back to try more creations!"

"We stumbled at our last days in toronto. we were at the end of the night there, so there were slim pickings for the selection of food. but what we got was quite delicious and had the perfect amount of spices....The workers were friendly and offered suggestions. they also have some nice burrito choices. limited seating, so go. would recommend."

"Came in for lunch and to use a 2-for-1 coupon before it expired. Almost the only ones there, but it was almost at the end of the lunch hour. My burger was the Canadian and it was hard to handle, I should have asked for...it to be sliced in half. Taste was not bad, but I was hoping it would be better. I guess I had heard better comments. Service was reasonable, but not a wow either."

"This is easily the best dumpling place in the whole of Toronto. Used to come here almost weekly when I lived nearby with my Chinese flatmate who can certify how good this place is. Price is great. Food is fantastic and the people working there are lovely. Couldn’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to come back. I live in Europe now and I dream of their dumplings constantly. 10/10 a must."

"This place serves the best poke in Toronto imo. The joint is small with seating for about only 6 people, but the poke they make here is top notch and served up super quick. For the bowls, you get the option of snack size, regular, or large, with the regular size probably being enough for most. You also get to choose white or brown rice which is a nice option and all bowls come with seaweed salad, avocado and taro chips. Out of all the poke places in Toronto that I've tried, the bowls here have the best protein to rice ratio. That is to say, they give you lots of fish! I got the Waimea bowl which tasted great and had a bit of spice to it. I will definitely be back anytime I'm in the area to try their other bowls. Tip: check-in using yelp and they give you an extra 2oz of seaweed salad :"
