"My husband and I have been wanting to come for so long because of all the great reviews. Unfortunately, we were underwhelmed. Although the food was good, there wasn’t anything memorable that would bring us back. We had a couple cocktails, crab cake, steak, sweet potatoes, glass of wine, and a dessert. The best part were the cocktails and sweet potatoes. Our crab cake could have used a bit more crisp and the steak was overdone. Solid meal but not the fireworks we were expecting."

"This is the end because the place we wanted was closed. What a pleasant surprise. We ordered fish-shrimp tacos, the red snaps over rice, fried pimple, caramel key lime cake and a boozy frozen drink. It was all great. The sweet tea is probably some of the best we had. If you are in oysters, they have them for $0.79 each. Not sure if that was a special or regular price. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that, although our server was sweet, she always told us how tired she was, and once she asked about something she would turn and go without talking to us a chance or asking questions. I guess she's young and inexperienced. But she has great potential."

"If you want a wonderful dining experience while in Pensacola, look no farther that The Angus. Here is a restaurant that has stood the test of time (owned by the same family for over 40 years) and better and better with each passing year. A truly enjoyable night out for a special occasion or just a delightful dinner. I can certainly say that my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner recently at The Angus. The rib eye steak that I ordered was superb, cooked to perfection and tender enough to cut with a fork. My wife’s crab stuffed flounder with lemon cream sauce was an excellent choice, fresh and delicious. The service as always was impeccable and owner Peter Bithos always makes you feel at home as if you were family. I can definitely recommend this great restaurant in downtown Pensacola."
