"The food is fine, maybe a bit expensive, but the big problem is the woman, owner? She is always in your face. She pressures you to order, she leans across you to collect plates. She hovers around the table. She clears plates before everyone has finished. We had our bill before even being asked if we wanted desert. We won't be back because its not a relaxing evening/meal."

"I have the drunk noodles. Had a ton of vegetables with the noodles that I sneaked most. That was a big positive. I ordered a 3 and it felt like a 4 hahah. I'll order two next time. It was tasteful spicy, not only spicy. The staff was also very pleasant."

"Left disappointed and with a half empty stomach. My partner and I got each of the items on the 3 course menu and everything tasted underwhelming other than the Sugo, which was seasoned really well. Meatballs ordered a la carte had a good spice too. For spending that much money I thought it would be rich, deeply flavorful, Italian food.Service was good and the server was extremely nice."

"Our hotel (terminus) has recommended this place and I am glad that we have taken their advice! we came to dinner and really enjoyed it. the restaurant is cozy, modern and tastefully decorated. the waiter was beautiful and attentive. we BYO wine and they quickly brought glasses and an ice cup. we ordered yellow curry and pad thai with rice. both dishes are absolutely delicious. so much taste and well presented. and the portions were a good size that I can eat a lot and the restaurant feel full! it is very expensive and overall we loved the experience. we have booked our table (via the phone), but it was not busy with this was the best meal we had in newcastle and we will definitely be back next time in the opposite."

"We celebrated a birthday dinner here and were beyond satisfied! We really appreciated the laid back yet special atmosphere that allowed us to celebrate a special occasion comfortably, yet without sacrificing quality or 'wow ' factor! Come one, come all we brought our decently well behaved 2 year old and that was totally appropriate too! As far as starters go, we loved the fried shrimp; light, but flavorful batter and a surprisingly delicious dipping sauce that had a playful kick. Our party of three adults opted for 3lbs of boil in medium awesome sauce, medium heat, and we kinda wanted to bathe in the sauce after dinner! It was that good. It made even the corn drip in gooey, garlicky wonder. And I really didn 't think I 'd be commenting about the softness of the boiled potatoes, but damn! We were pleased, surprised and surpassed by everything we tried. Definitely coming back to try more of the menu! Grand Catch adds perfectly to the Mac Groveland Neighborhood without taking away from it. It 's just the kind of excitement and seafood the Twin Cities needs!"
