"So I place an order for delivery, I pre-pay which I really dislike doing because you end up paying for items you didn't order because they didn't understand after you say it for the 22nd time... or they are 1.5 hours late from the time they give you or they take your order to the wrong hotel (all have happened to me, just not at the same restaurant)....anyways....I order Cantonese chow mein and half my noodles are cooked and half are raw and when I call them to tell them this ----I get "they are supposed to be crunchy noodles" to which I respond with "no they aren't", then he tells me to hold on three times while he tries to come up with a better answer than simply saying "we screwed up sorry let me fix this for you".....instead I get a "what would you like me to do about it?" Save your money this place is not worth it"

"We visited and enjoyed The Red Kitchen lunch special with beers. I had the cashew nut chicken which was great. My husband had the red curry which he thought was delicious. The lunch special comes with spring rolls and rice - the spring rolls were nice. Service was excellent and fast. Will be visiting again. The restaurant is stroller and wheelchair accessible"

"It's the best Thai restaurant I've tried so far in Durham region. The food was authentic. It reminds me of the food I had in Thailand. Prices are reasonable, and many parking spaces are available in front of the store. The owner is so sweet and friendly, she deserves more than 5 stars for her customer service. I added pictures of our dishes today. They also offer Halal option."

"I have been going to The Portly for the last 5 years and have always had great food and great service. We've even tried the Oshawa pub and it's as good. Food is way above the average restaurant in Ajax and the servers are always friendly. You can expect a wait anytime of the week with a winning combination like that. But what you can also expect is to have employees bump ahead of you to be seating making your wait even longer. Not too impressed with that side of "service"."

"Nice atmosphere. Excellent Service and the food was amazing! Dinner for 2 with a few glasses of wine under $50 and we took what was equal to 2 meals home. We will be back!"

"Food quality had went down over the years. Rolls and maki not as fresh and the hot food is either overly cold or overcooked . Bundled with inflated pricing. Unfortunately we will not be coming back here anytime soon."

"The fried rice tasted very good , but the quality of the meet i Choose to add beef and chicken to my fried rice , and it was not the best quality of meet ! Sure if they can make a better meet selection they will do way better ! That’s my observation . Very good service, good people .good atmosphere for families in a very good área."
