"Good to be at this place again, really friendly atmosphere and polite staff. a good selection of tapas and well made and presented (especially recommend the espadin frites crisp roasted whole white baby served with lemon wedge and aioli) also the drink selection is good, more personal favorit was the victoria malaga camp."

"As well as the lovely selection of tapas here, the service was exceptional fast, polite, professional. From the moment we sat down a waiter suddenly appeared to take our drinks order, followed swiftly by another waiter taking our food order not long after. The food came quickly followed by our request for the bill (which can take ages in many places) which came right back. When we paid and told the waiter to keep the change as staff tips, he was honest enough to point out that the bill already included a tip. They definitely deserved our 'extra ' tip. Highly recommend."

"Admittedly we were there the first night that it had moved location and we arrived at 6.30 when it has supposedly started serving at 6 pm so I guess we should have expected teething problems but the food did not shine, making the the other issues less important. We had the sharing seafood platter to start. It was beautifully presented with a good amount of smoked and cured fish to be worth the 19 quid price. Served with artisan bread, it certainly looked the part (see photo) but it just didn 't live up to the description. The sea bass was cured in blueberries but we couldn 't taste that at all, the Laphroaig smoked salmon was delicious but so very very subtle that we would not have known it had been exposed to whisky had we not been told. We waited so long for the mayo to appear that our main course arrived whilst we were still halfway through the starter. (The blurb on their FB page did mention the 'casual, food served when it is ready approach so we were not surprised when it arrived so soon after the starter). We got to our, now cold, mains (yes, I know we were outside, what should we have expected? they have fleecy blankets on the chairs for cold legs shame the food didn 't get the same treatment). I had the lamb and mint burger (13.50) and my friend had the lobster and king prawn jumbo dog (19.00). Unfortunately there had been a communication problem and so the jumbo dog was returned to the kitchen to have prawns put on it. So I carried on with my burger as no one offered to take it away and keep it warm so I could eat with my friend. The mayo for the first course still had not arrived so I gave up waiting. Three members of staff knew we were waiting for it and it still did not make it to the table. The burger was fine, just fine. Not terribly well seasoned with a hint of mint, it did not stand up well in comparison to other 'gourmet ' burgers I have had in the many fancy burger places scattered around Glasgow these days. So I finished it off and had my plate taken away then we sat for another 5 minutes until the replacement jumbo dog arrived. This time it had all of the ingredients it was supposed to and my companion tucked in. It was 'okay ' she said, reaching for the salt. It was taken off our bill due to the delay and my pal was glad that she had not paid full price for it. It did not meet up with the expectations offered by the description, which is a shame. Had the food been great then the delay would have been forgivable but it wasn 't, so I am struggling to be positive. I love a good pop up restaurant me and have eaten at a few of the blossoming street scene pop ups over the past few years. This venture just didn 't do it for me. I 've been known to travel to Edinburgh Festival to enjoy the delicious innovative food a pop up can provide and am pleased to see at least one of them becoming a restaurant! But this one, from a well thought of restaurant, lacked the sparkle and creativity I was looking for. It is a resounding 'meh ' from this camp I 'm afraid."
