"Great food, as usual. We like to stop here for lunch before an afternoon flight out of OAK. Our fish and chips were crispy and tasty. They recognized my wife's allergy and accommodated us in the closed downstairs dining area, because the upstairs pub area had complimentary peanuts and there were peanut shells on the floors. Our servers were kind and provided excellent service."

"I was disappointed by the chicken paella. it was completely missing the paella taste. although good, it was arroz con pollo (rice with huhn). I could taste cumin, it had reached the coloring of tomato paste, and the rice was not the consistency of bomba rice. I would suggest either to customize the menu and list the dish as aroz con pollo, or change the rice preparation to use saffron threads in a white wein solved, chorizo, spanish pimenton, wobble, garlic and grated tomatoes. the filled Piquillo peppers were very good. the sweet of the goat cheese sweet paprika saltiness of olives and the drops O/O were a perfect combination. the salat that accompanied the aroz con pollo was excellent with him 's light dressing of fruity O/O! we will return and try the seafood paella ."

"We have made reservations for our high-time anniversary, and so glad that we, because it was a small restaurant and every table was full when we arrived. we sat on the bar with champagne to celebrate our jubilee while we waited for our table to open. that was good for us because we had the opportunity to admire the entire kitchen in the open kitchen. our server was so friendly and accommodating- regularly to check (but not often too) in the did, any person we encountered there was friendly and personal. but the food! the food was amazing! we started to eat yucca. then we ordered the standard lomo-saltado and aji de gallina. the meat in Lomo-Salzado was rarely cooked, so delicate and tasteful. the aji de gallina had only a mild kick, but also so delicious. pucqio is really a jewel! we come back often!"

"Three of us went there for dinner and ate from the Restaurant Week menu. I would love to go in to detail about each item because they were all good but I don't recall the names. We had three tapas, a cold salad type, a potato type, and a pate. All three were excellent. We had the seafood paella, again excellent and also too much. Dessert was the only blemish, we had the flan and it was average. The service was great and relatively attentive. The two people that I was with had what looked like a sangria and enjoyed it. The decor was great as was the space."

"Came here for dinner with a group of friends. The interior of the restaurant was clean and modern looking.Food: The raw beef carpaccio (bo tai chanh) was a bit chewy but overall refreshing, tasty, and packed with flavor the shrimp spring rolls (tom goi cuon) were nicely stuffed with vermicelli, shrimp and lettuce. The peanut sauce paired well with the rolls. the chanh chua with shrimp was a bit too sweet for my liking but overall the broth has a solid tangy flavor and there were a heaping amount of veggies and shrimp. The service was great and attentive. There was a miscommunication with one of the dishes we ordered, but they were quick to resolve the issue. The prices were on the higher side but I would still come back."

"Healthy ish with decent flavors, but execution could be improved. Root veggies: The beets were not slimy, but were a bit too crunchy for being cooked. The sweet potatoes were cooked through without being overly slimy. 3.25 5 Patatas bravas (fried potatoes): I was hoping these would be super crispy, but alas, they were lightly fried. If you're gonna eat fried food, go big or go home at least that's my view on unhealthy foods (ask me about my Halo Top ice cream views) 3.25 5 but only because I really like potatoes Lomo saltado chicken beef: I love sauteed veggies (peppers and purple onions) as much as the next person (well, probably more than the next person since I love veggies and most people...don't), but if the dish is supposed to be lomo saltado and I have to dig for the meat, it's gonna make me wonder a bit. Maybe just a presentation issue? The steak was cut into pieces, but still stuck together in chunks. Texture was really dry. 3 5. On the chicken saltado, the veggie to meat situation was the same, and the chicken was still dry. 3 5. Flavor wise, both could have used more marination. The veggies were well seasoned. Stuffed peppers: These looked restaurant ready, but the flavor was lacking. The tofu, garlic, and ginger combo tasted Asian (really reminiscent of the flavor I had with my Hainan chicken the other day, actually), and it could have used more sauce or salt. Was really looking forward to this meal, but it's a 3 5 for now"
