"Ever since I found out about this place I wanted to give it a try. Came here for my birthday dinner on a Friday night and had the paella. We had to make reservations, order and pay for the paella beforehand. We had tapas before dinner which consisted of papas bravas, pulpo and the tortilla. All which were very tasty, but I think my favorite was the grilled octopus. We also tried the watermelon sangria which was a little sweet, the red sangria (very good), white sangria (very good) and sunset sangria (mixture of red and white). For dinner we had a huge serving of paella "

"I am uncertain how many good steamed crabs and fresh seafood restaurants are there. I know some famous in this cal. but I can assure them that none of those businesses can beat quality seafood! there are some important points that indicate. 1. they get to get their own fresh seafood while they literally look at them. 2. They do their magic right in front of their face. 3. the ingredients are really alive, i.e. they really live to the word “fresh”. 4. The taste is not a comparison to the famous restaurants out there. 5. They can eat smelling seas! Yes, and there are so many good reasons why they should go here. I recommend you go there, even if you visit socal. quality seafood they will not disappoint!"

"Very nice restaurant, better than you would expect in a mini-mall! Pretty decor and delicious food. I had fried cow which is beef that was shredded, marinated, and then sauteed crispy. My companion had garlic chicken, which was also delicious."

"I went with a friend to check out newly opened The Front Door on a Friday night and it was excellent. It’s in a great location on the waterfront and has a welcoming casual ambiance, open air with a view of the ocean. We enjoyed a carafe of sangria, prosciutto wrapped dates, meatballs, grilled octopus and a burger with fries. Very tasty food in a friendly atmosphere!"

"This is a great little place where you can enjoy some Spanish inspired food. While at first glance, the menu prices seem on the cheap side, this bar uses the small plate dining style for sharing or sampling. If you order three or more plates, it can start to get pricey if you are trying to get full. That being said, the food was quite good. The octopus, tomato/pepper soup, and the paella are among the tastiest on the menu."
