"I hope Alfredo is there when you visit this excellent restaurant. My wife and I fell in love Don Simon, the house wine. We 're taking a bottle home after downing one. The chef/owner was on hand to help the bartender make my Manhattan and both...he and Alfredo gave us a hug and invited us back. El Campanario makes the best Paella and will tell you so. It 's an upscale place but not snooty like some of the other restaurants in the plaza. We had dinner there two out of two nights and will return the next time we are in town. The menu is HUGH! Cap 'n Paul Marvelle Retired in San Miguel De Allende"

"I just can't stop thinking about this place when I want to pamper my senses. The view is breath taking, you really feel welcomed by the staff the moment you step into the place, young Beto's friendly service and politeness of owner Cesar make you feel as home. The ingredients carefully chosen (just as Cesar explained when asking him how he got started) make the food an amazing experience! The "montaditos" or tapas are delicious, there are several dishes from where to choose but believe me, they are all exquisite. The paella is the best I have eaten in town and reminds me of my student days back in Barcelona, it's a MUST TRY in the menu. Every dish has its particular seasoning and awakens your desire of returning every time to try something new. Make sure you save some space for dessert! All of them are great but I must say that the most strangest but amazingly delicious to me is the brownie with hot sauce, why strangest? I would have never thought of eating a brownie with a hot sweet sauce and do believe me, it's the best mixture of flavors combined in your mouth that take you back to the scene from Disney's Ratatouille with Emille and "little chef" tasting, you can perfectly close your eyes and see the light explosion of flavors. Oh! And if you want to end the night a little tipsy make sure you ask for a Lamborghini cocktail, you will be as amazed as delighted with the show and start a great party!"
