"Went in for brunch and honestly. It's a nice place, ample parking space, clean, covid mandates followed and all the good stuff. Rr could use a regular-ish kinda cleaning but it's kept well. I ordered the tomato provolone egg sandwich and their specialty iced coffee (in pic) and he ordered the breakfast special which basically everything. The coffee was a bit different for my taste but tastes good. There is something missing tho and we can't pin point exactly what. Oh also ordered the cheddar biscuit and that was good too. Worth a try definately. Would I go back? Maybe yes.."

"We were passing through Harrisburg, and my husband is a big fan of Pubs, so we thought we would give McGrath's a try. We have pretty high expectations when it comes to Pub's and good food in general. This place did not disappoint! I ordered the duck and they just substituted more vegetables for Boxty, since I am gluten free. It was cooked to perfection, and one of the best duck dishes I have ever had. The pear chutney combination was amazing! My husband said the genuine shepherd's pie (lamb! was extremely tasty, and a generous portion! The prices are VERY reasonable. We came on a Wednesday. It was quick service, and although the server said she was new, she did a wonderful job, and was very helpful! Would definitely recommend this place."

"It is your diner style menu, nice selection to choose from. Also has a small breakfast menu available all day. The service is always good and the food comes out quickly and hot. The prices are fair and the restaurant is clean. Been there a few times and will go back again!"

"We had a party of four. The hostess sat us right away which was great, but we then waited 10+ minutes for a server to come to our table or acknowledge us. Finally, a young girl introduced herself and asked for our drink order. Two of our party ordered IPA beers and two of us ordered water only. The server had to come back to our table 3 times to let us know that the beer that was asked for was out, which whatever, but this took another 10+ minutes and each of those times she came back empty handed. I 'd assume she could have at least brought the waters, right? At this point I was just irritated and hungry. Dinner rolls and garlic bread were brought out, which was delicious. Our apps were brought out nice and hot. I ordered the crab and spinach dip but was quite disappointed because I tasted absolutely no crab whatsoever and it was served with tortilla chips. I guess I should 've looked a little closer at the menu because usually hot crab dips/spinach dips are served with a type of bread or soft pretzel bite. Oh well, my mistake, but again, I was already irritated so a fair judgement is... it was good. The main meals were much better. Huge serving size, tasty and fresh. I had The Rachael sandwich, my group had chicken Parmesan, chicken Alfredo, and a specialty burger. Everyone was happy with their main meal. Then while deciding on desserts to take home, a party member found a fly in their water. Honestly, I know these things happen and are out of our control. What was upsetting was when the server brought him a replacement water, she also left the fly water on the table in front of him. Pretty gross. So, writing this the next day with time to calm down, the food was good, the atmosphere was actually fun and lively, but we will not be coming back. Last night was our first time eating at this restaurant and the first impression was pretty disappointing."
