"We loved this place so much, we had the vegan wrap and the vegan sandwich both of which were so incredibly tasty. You can really taste the heart and soul that went into making the food. It's a lovely spot with delicious yummy foods that I would like to eat more of! We also tried one of every vegan dessert and it was worth it. So yummy! Will be back for sure! I just wished we lived closer."

"Besides half decent quinoa and green pea salads for lunch there was only a pitifully messed up tasteless paleo/GF burger . Not sure how does this make this place a vegan friendly? How much sugar/deserts high one has to be to give this place any approval. A total waste of the time and money for a hungry person."

"Lovely establishment away from the town centre of Nelson in a very peaceful, quiet and relaxing setting. They have really nailed the 'Ye Olde English Pub ' vibe and it 's got a really charming atmosphere. Every member of staff I interacted with was friendly, helpful and seemed grateful for my business. I stayed one night in a small single room and it was very comfortable and featured everything I needed for a good rest. The food in the restaurant was really delicious (especially the Crispy Pork Belly) and the range of beers and drinks available was excellent. I really enjoyed my time here and can highly recommend it if you 're looking for somewhere a bit different to the usual country motel."

"Popped in for brunch the first day of our holiday, great service very quick and friendly. Meals were generous in portion and packed full of flavour. I had the Eggs Benedict and hubby had the chicken waffles with hot sauce which he declared the best breakfast he has ever had. Highly recommend."

"The Dutch syrup waffles make for a delicious ice cream sandwich. We had the boysenberry sorbet and hazelnut ice cream and both were great. Going by the amount of awards on the wall you can't go wrong with anything you choose here."

"They are antivaxers in cladding. huge disappointment after almost months it hard in locks in auckland with my vegan children and hubby. road trip and this cafe were among the most important reasons to drive to nelson. great food. long was happy to come here. but the workers claim to serve “medical mask releases” and “take only” while still in the back. at least they come out and post their anti-science friends. They don't try to have both of them. Of course, the good did not taste well when we realized that it was forced to disregard public health measures in the time of covidence. kia kaha, fellow nz vegan and science believing. Give him a tough fit. so disappointing."

"Loved the vegans sincean discs. made a vegan reuben sandwich (soaked brot with spread, sour wort) and added the slices. it was so good. also enjoyed the buttons. it has been added a package with sweet and salad. the vegan sausages cost and it was delicious...will buy this next time."
