"Sunday Lunch our party had been looking forward to our get together and booked a month ago for the table upstairs, which we were told on arrival was no longer available!!! No apology! Wasn 't a great start but were accommodated downstairs which was fine. Next we placed an order and paid for a large round of drinks. The guy behind the bar poured 2 then disappeared leaving six of us without drinks when we realised he wasn 't coming back we had to ask another member of staff to finish serving us! Again no apology! The food Had to ask for extra gravy and again for sauces/mustard which the waiter begrudgingly brought over two tiny pots for the whole table!!! The same size portion was given to a table of 2 next to us! We gave up asking for more. The food itself was just nice , Yorkshire Puddings were over cooked and the Pork was all fat and very little meat it wasn 't enjoyable. Beef tasted ok but have had better. Overall the pub itself is really nice and we all had high expectations but all said and done, I would give it another go but not for Sunday Lunch. I would have expected the staff (and there were plenty of them) to be attentive and more willing to make the customer experience a pleasant one. Maybe they 'd had a long day who knows but in hospitality you can 't let this show in front of the paying customers especially when you 're collectively spending just over £400! To be fair I shouldn 't be taring all the staff with the same brush but can only judge on the service we received."

"Terrible place! Cafe itself needs some tlc. We've been twice to get ice cream for children. On one occasion they said they don't serve ice cream unless it's Saturday! And when we went on a Saturday they said they're shut as they ran out if ice cream meanwhile serving a couple of huge ice creams! And staff are so rude! Avoid and go to the beach cafe along the front- really friendly staff and amazing coffee. Much more welcoming!"

"A great Little Hideaway before or after walk in Weston Woods,. The coffee was nice and the scenery and seating outside in the quarry was great. An Iron Monger and a Museum is also on the Property, looks like an ideal place to work."

"Stayed at hotel and had a bar lunch at the hotel. Brie balsamic chibatta. Excellent taste. Reasonable value for money in this environment. Atmosphere totally let down by staff 1). Staff behind bar too busy setting up to serve customers-I stood at bar for over 5 minutes whilst staff tended to glasses etc. 2). Staff transferring items from restaurant to kitchen through bar area squeezing Behring guests sitting in lounge. 3). Noise in setting up. This could have been much more enjoyable an experience if staff were appropriately trained in respecting guests and their environment."

"Pop here this morning for change as normally go somewhere different when in Weston-super-Mare, the prices were not bad food Cook was good hot, the place clean, the good as well. It's nice that they do your order at the table as well as not many... that and after you have food come a bit later ask if everything OK"
