"A cute little restaurant offering simple fare mostly involving smoked meat, fries, poutine. I found the prices high for the quality which was okay but not as good as other smoked meats and poutine I've had recently in some other BC towns. My husband and I shared one sandwich and one large poutine for lunch and it cost just over $20. You order and pay at the front then your meal is brought to your table. There are a few inside tables and a little outside patio area. The bathroom sink was filthy with grime which I found quite disturbing especially given the young woman efficiently cleaning tables out front."

"I've always loved eating. our waitress did not seem to care that there was a hair in the water, never harassed to come and ask something during our meal or offer a help. the eating was also disappointing,...Ribs were tender, but suppe, steak was hard for a med ny and presentation was thrown together heephase, which I was surprised because normally presentation was great and the eating delicious. will not come back. at least not on a weekday."

"We stayed in Summerland for four days, food was so good we had dinner here three times. Food and service was consistently excellent. They ran out of Tiramisu dessert so we had Pecan pie for dessert couple of times, ...mmm...mmm...yummy.We'll be back."

"Service varies between 3-5 stars, it's always good but sometimes they go above and beyond. Only one barista mentioned that they have 2 matcha powders and one has dairy in it- we'd always assumed the matcha latte with oat milk would be safe, so it was nice of her to take the extra time/care to ask and then recommended syrup because it's not as sweet. The coconut substitute they use tastes off, don't reccomend. Everything else is great though and they are friendly. Good place!"

"Chef Kaila Klassen of MasterChef Canada Season 1 has just opened a wonderful new restaurant at the new Evolve Cellars winery in Summerland, BC (formerly Bonitas winery). The setting is exquisite, especially on the patio overlooking the vineyard and the lake - you are literally sitting among the grapevines, with the most breathtaking, peaceful and private lake views. And what could be better than sipping a Wine Slushie outside under an umbrella in the warm Okanagan sunshine!We had the braised short rib sandwich, which was grilled to perfection, served with a fantastic Elevated Salad (this surpassed my longtime favorite short rib sandwich at the Cactus Club). We also enjoyed the weekly Saturday Special: Prawn Tagliatelle. We look forward to returning to this fabulous restaurant again and again... it is an hour's drive for us (along one of the most beautiful lakeside drives in the world!) and having lunch here feels like we've been on a sublime vacation. I am already planning my return visit - next time with the "bubbly" flight of 3 sparkling wines... aahhhh! And after lunch, you can stroll through the vineyard toward the lake!"
