"Well seen it advertised on their facebook page The lunch box Taunton ,fancied trying the Breakfast tasca was not dissapointed. Did not take long to arrive .the delivery lady very polite and the food was fantastic and latte spot on . I recommend to you all .dont fancy making brekky make your order suprise your other half with brekky in bed .thankyou lunch box it was delicious"

"This Costa occupies a captive site at Somerset 's main hospital dealing with people in a variety of circumstances and with little competition. On three occasions recently I have asked their 'talented ' baristas for an iced black Americano. You would think that would be simple and comprise ice and a black Americano, the clue is in the name. On the first occasion it was served with milk and a sticky mystery syrup in it. On a second occasion I specifically asked whether it would be possible to have the same drink with ONLY coffee and ice, again the mystery syrup was put in and it had to be done again. On the third occasion, ie today, clear instructions given ie ice/coffee and NO syrup stated, but again in goes the gooey syrup. People can make mistakes, but when they do they should learn not to throw the coffee across the counter at the customer and walk off in distain. This is without doubt vying for the award of the worst Costa ever encountered (close run by one near Paddington Station, London)."

"Visited as part of trip to Taunton to follow Essex v Somerset.really lovely restaurant very well designed with great ambiance. Waitress/Waiter service very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Very varied menu and the food we all tried was excellent. Lovely venue and will definitely go again...when in the area"

"We visited this friendly country pub in July staying for two nights in one of their beautiful holiday let cottages. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family and this continued throughout our stay, not only from all the staff but from the locals too. Although we were staying in a self catering cottage we decided to eat from the pub/restaurants superb menu, the food could not be faulted in any way: produce is all sourced locally but without the pomp and ceremony of some establishments, everything is made on the premises and cooked and presented as well as anything you will find in over-priced, fancy London restaurants and tastes every bit as good. We enjoyed the place (including the local walks scenery) so much we seriously considered extending our stay, only for work commitments to get in the way. We will definitely be visiting again in the near future and would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice relaxing and friendly get away."

"Coffee and cream has recently been taken over by members of staff, it has become better than it ever was. We have an old codgers breakfast club, and it has become one of the better venues in Taunton for breakfast, with excellent fried bread. The...cakes and sweet items look excellent, and relatives have used it quite regularly for morning coffee and cakes."
