"We were just a few hours in dead as it was the goal of our south devon railways tour. we found the city mesmerizing. there were so many quirky and wonderful caffes that it was difficult to decide. at the end we landed in the anne of cleves. we had the cream tea and a pot of red bush tea. the schurke we john told, who also served us, baked himself, was pretty good. the dipped cream and the jam were pretty, both we interacted with were warm and welcoming. that had a problem with the card machine, but glad we had some money on us. we enjoyed our short visit very much."

"So we visited dead on Sunday a bank holiday, where many restaurants were closed. this place seemed nice to enjoy with its outdoor terrace “Pop-up”, the last of the alfresco restaurants in summer! I went into the pub to order what is very nice made, much smaller than it looks from outside, but a nice cozy atmosphere. we ordered two burgers and a ham sandwich for my 2yr old (not different on the menu for him really, it would be nice to see a child section, but maybe they don't want kids there really, hey-ho. with a few glasses of koks and an fruit-shoo came only under £50. a little steep when I'm honest. the type behind the bar that served me was very good, polite, friendly etc. eating came over the waitress who asked us if we wanted any sauces etc., they brought them immediately before they broke out. fair enough she was busy so I let her out, although we have burger, but, some cute for the salat and chips would have been good! the bark in the burgers was significantly high quality, also very tasty. the ham sandwich was also good. overall a good experience, but a bit expensive really so 4/5 of me."
