"I am so glad this is within walking distance of my family. We ordered the khao soi, gaeng hun Lei, pad see ew, and Yellow curry noodle. The Gaeng hun lei was so refreshing and the perfect starter. The pad see ew was great and the broccoli was still crunchy, which is great. The khao soi and yellow curry noodle were not spicy, but very flavorful. I'm also not an accurate person with spice because I have an iron tongue. I also got a Thai tea which paired perfectly. My cousins got their version of a mojito. I cannot wait to come back and have some more food from this place and the customer service was awesome. They were so accommodating even with the little one."

"I came here yesterday with my fiancé for a belated Valentine’s dinner. I found out about this place originally via one of those “top 50” restaurant lists, and let me tell you…this place is phenomenal! Those top restaurant lists always leave me a little skeptical, but Monsoon is the real deal. The whole time my fiancé and I were just in awe of how good it actually was, and we will be back for sure. We got the fresh rolls (pictured) and chicken wings for apps, lamb and pork chops for our mains, and the banana bread (pictured) for our dessert. All were awesome, and we would definitely recommend! The vibe of this place is also really nice. Decor reflects fine dining, and is unique. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We originally had outdoor reservations, but liked the inside so much we figured we would eat inside. In terms of outdoor space, they do have heaters in case you go during a chilly night, and the dining is on the patio/side walk area."

"I've only eaten here once and over all I wasn't overwealmed by this place, but I enjoyed myself and would definately return. I ate with my wife who is not a vegetarian and hates spicy food and she really enjoyed her meal, she had the mushroom cakes for the fake meat with some noodles and veggies and I thought it was really good as well(except that it reminded me of beef too much, can a fake meat be too convincing? I am a vegan and love spicy food and I did pretty well myself. Though next time I will ask for much spicier then a 3 star. It is possible that some of the food I ate was not vegan, I asked but I wasn't sure of the convidence of their answer. The place is small but I quite liked it and we went before the diner crowd, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. I would like to go back and try the lunch specials, we got there a little too late. The spring rolls were underwealming, for both me and my wife, but the entrees were tasty, too oily for me, but that is a common complaint of mine at many asian restaurants and I don't think too much a reflection on the food. The brown rice, was fragrant and quite tasty and our choice of tea was perfect on a cool day. The total was a little higher then I like to pay, but not too unreasonable for what we ate. As I said, I would return, especially for the lunch specials, it's a nice little place and if you're like me and have meat eaters in the family, this place will work for you as well."

"Used to be really really good, but just picked up $100 of basically flavorless mush... Not sure what happened but certainly won't be eating there again."

"Great Thai restaurant but a bit hard to find. The food and experience: amazing food, we choose dishes to share and washed it down with various teas."

"The pad Thai is very tasty and the portion is a good size. I got 4/5 on spicy level and felt that it's milder than some other places I've been to like Citrus Thai."

"WG down on 3rd AVE in Seattle is still in the midst of the struggle to recover from the Pandemic and the terrible realities of Seattle's 3rd AVE. We dined there a year ago, and things were not going well, so last night Jan. 5, 2023 was our first time back, and things were greatly improved! Good work and keep it up. Perhaps a good summary of the current reality was that Benaroya Hall was only half full last night (for a wonderful concert! and WG was also only half full....at least up to about 7pm when we had to head over to our concert. So Seattle and 3rd AVE have a way to go."
