"My partner and I were out celebrating our anniversary and were thrilled that we were still able to get a table here, as the restaurant we had booked into at our hotel was nowhere near as good as this. Sam took care of us for...the night and exhibited outstanding service on all fronts. We started with the cheesy garlic bread and arancini balls, where the bread was one of the best garlic breads I have honestly ever eaten. The arancini balls were small in size but exquisite in taste could have just eaten a bigger serve of them for our meal and been happy! Next we had our mains; I enjoyed a perfectly medium cooked fillet mignon with beans and a capsicum puree, and these ingredients complemented eachother beautifully. I had never had a capsicum puree before but it added such a different yet welcomed flavour when combined with the steak. My partner took advantage of the 'Make your own pasta ' option on the menu and had a pappardelle carbonara with chicken, and again it was cooked to perfection. Some places tend to skimp out on their pasta dishes but not the Federal. We were so thoroughly impressed with our experience that we have promised to return not only for a meal but also to stay in the accommodation. I would recommend this to absolutely anyone looking for a romantic night with their partner or a nice dinner with friends, couldn 't fault it!"
