Hadn't dined at The Griffins for a number of years. Has been tastefully renovated, we were provided a very comfortable semi-private dining area for our group of 16. Our elderly parents were with us, and I'm pleased to say the facilities were accessible for the elderly, the only slight issue was the need to go up stairs to order our meals (parents would have struggled, but we ordered for them). What User doesn't like about The Griffins:
Food was disappointing. The duck was chargrilled till black and tasted burnt on the salad. Although the accompanying salad with dragonfruit was refreshing. The octopus linguine in a rose sauce was also lacking in the "hero" ingredient = octopus. Definitely not returning for another meal here.
