"I went to Salmigondis for MTLàTable and I was blown away: excellent service, food and ambiance. Our plates were very flavourful. You can tell they use quality products and that everything is fresh. It’s small and cozy. It’s a bit pricey but it’s worth every penny. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Montreal."

"I was visiting Montreal, suggested by a friend to dine and am I ever happy I did! I am a traveler across Canada, and I went by myself to dine at one of Canada's top 100 and I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! From service to food I was enthralled. I dined solo and I sat at the bar, It was an exceptional pleasure to watch the chefs at work. The crudo was amazing, but the real stunner was the meat pie. It invoked a visceral reaction within me and could not hold back tears as I ate the pork shoulder and rabbit meat pie. The service was stellar and I would recommend to any solo traveler, go to MP and watch the kitchen team pump out amazing dishes from the bar. It is unconventional, and if you don't like that, get lost! I loved my time and thank you chef for the baked oyster and the shot. I will send everyone I know there, and congrats for staying on Canada's top 100. I believe you should rank closer based on my experience. Forever grateful. <3"

"We were there for mtl a table brunch. the place was hopping and packed with people, a very good mood. we had duck conflict benedikt and lachs benedikt smoked, both very good. for dessert we had fried apfelfritten with salt carameldrizzle and bananen. cake, very full and good. we were filled, and it was a great worth for $15/pp! that was great. service was good for such a busy restaurant."

"The meal was exquisite, with traditional entrees such as Italian ham, fresh burrata cheese, zucchini flowers and eggplant parmesan. Risotto was excellent with just the right amount of porcini mushrooms, fish of the day was a bass served on a bed of lentils and beans....out of this world...but here comes desert a Pistaccio Tartufo….just a taste of heaven with every bite."

"The ‘Salumi Vino’ is a restaurant situated in the heart of Old Montreal.It is the favorite place for people all over the world. As you enter the place, a magnificent setting, a delightful marriage of antique cut stones and the luxuries of modernity welcome you. Sitting in any table, you have a wonderful view of the workshop-like kitchen where you can see the chefs working. The menu offers a wide variety of mouth- watering starters. I had the fried zucchini accompanied by a mousseline tomato sauce and Burrato salad. They were exquisite. All the products were fresh and the dishes had the warmth of homemade food. The chefs take great care in selecting fresh products and ingredients. Despite the low price of the food and very attentive waiters ́ service, I had a pleasant dining experience with food of the most exquisite flavours. For this reason, I highly recommend going to the Salumi Vino restaurant. Special thanks to Owner Mr. Mario he was to kind to offer us special Italian desert Tiramisu."
