"Several of us were on our final night in Paris, so phoned ahead to make arrangements for dinner. When we arrived, they seemed surprised to see us, even though we had phoned ahead. We were served questionable wine, and a basket of sliced bread, some...of which was moldy. Next came a porcelain bin full of cut vegetables, followed by two small urns, one filled with mayonnaise with herbs, the other with what tasted like Russian dressing. Next, they handed us a crockery pot full of chicken liver pate, followed by more bread stale, but at least not moldy. Also, a crockery pot full of goose liver pate, and then shredded goose meat in schmaltz. I did not eat any of these. It looked old and smelled bad. Out next was a tray of 'Quiche Lorraine Squares '. A crockery dish full of roasted chicken came out next. The chicken was awash in a thin tomato sauce. Dessert was 'cake squares ' stale cake cut up into small squares. The place was dirty, as well. Everything was dusty, and smelled moldy. When I returned to my hotel, I was sick to my stomach, and in minutes was facing down the toilet, heaving everything."

"Really friendly staff that was very friendly and worried about me when I was a single female traveler. I have the tartare that was super tasty along with a generous glass aperol splash. would recommend! I sat outside, which was a bit louder and had a smoky, so if you're not in the second-hand smoker, sit in!"
