"If what you are looking for is authentic German cuisine in a Mexican seaside resort town, while one might question your motives or credentials as a world traveller, this is definitely the place for you. Although the chef is not German, she learned and honed her skills in-country for years, and even speaks the language. So whether your a home-sick Kraut like me or a bi-culturally curious anything else, I guarantee you'll feel right at home in The Heidelberg Cafe.The only demerit is location. Captain Don's was featuring a Beatle cover band the evening we were there, and while I love the Beatles almost more than food, it wasn't exactly like being in Hamburg in the early sixties."

"Wonderful spot, great food. Saw the other review about the marguerita ...this gringa thinks Las Brazzas serves the best margueritas she has ever tasted ($25 pesos ea!). Two drinks, bottled water, shrimp enchiladas, chicken Caesar salad and a beef taco $305 pesos, wonderful service. Delicious. We loved it."

"We have been all over town eating chicken wings and StarWings has the best flavor and the largest wings! We love the Parmesan wings and their lemon-pepper fries. It is kinda loud with the music on. They play music videos from the 80s and its...always fun to watch them with my son when we are there! He gets a kick out of the outfits and hairstyles from back then!!"

"Located on the top floor of the hotel, the entire restaurant is open-air, with nice views and comfortable seating. Service staff friendly and helpful with menu explanations. We we enjoyed the beef tenderloin & shrimp special and finished with the "chocolate lava cake & ice cream" dessert. Full bar and nice atmosphere. Large menu. Enjoy !!"
