"I can always appreciate a Subway sandwich when the occasion calls for a (quick) lunch. The clean and hygienic system with the plastic gloves for food preparation, the wide selection of toppings and the nice parmesan-oregano bread I always like. This Subway on a corner location in Rennes close to the hotel we stayed at is no exception and provided us with tasty sandwiches. The young man who was working there was very kind, made a friendly chat and brought the food and drinks to us while we could already take a seat at the window. Very attentive service and tried and trusted Subway quality sandwiches."

"Three of us had the menu, which was good value with a starter, main dish, and dessert. My tataki of tuna was outstanding, my companions were not as impressed with the lobster risotto. My wife's veal was fabulous, two filets of lieu jaune were good, but not great. Desserts were on the small side, but tasty enough. They have a tablet they give you instead of a wine list. It is gimmicky and not too helpful as key information about the wines, such as apellation, vintage, and other characteristics are simply not there. I was not impressed with the wine selection or the tablet."

"Great place for a morning coffee and croissant, or a 'vin chaud ' (mulled wine) in the evening before retiring to our nearby hotel. Terrace seating always busy and buzzing; this is apparently a popular place for Rennes ' younger generation and travellers heading to, and from, the adjacent station. Speedy and efficient service. Stop off here for a drink and watch the world go by."
