"I went here for dinner and I was surprised to find that behind the dull setting in the restaurant there was excellent food. Everyone at the table had pasta, I highly recommend the tagliatelle alla gorgonzola and the tagliatelle ai funghi porcini, one of the best I had so far. The service is excellent, the general atmosphere is that of a typical italian family restaurant. What was truly amazing that the place filled up mostly with locals, so that, by 8:30pm, you could barely find a free table. So, in not so many words, if you want to try a delicious italian meal, this is the place to go."

"Hier schmeckt die Pasta, wie in Italien. Wirklich alles sehr lecker, frisch zubereitet und angemessene Preise. Man kann innen zugucken, wie die Pasta selbstgemacht wird.Alles frisch, alles lecker- super! Sitzplätze innen und außen.Innen allerdings sehr wenige Plätze und ein wenig beengt, daher 1stern Abzug- aber das Essen ist sehr zu empfehlen."

"Meine Freundin und ich trafen uns kurzfristig zwischen den Feiertagen im Café Tresor im Ferrum Haus zum Frühstück. Das Café wirkte auf mich ein paar Tage vorher so gemütlich, das ich mich sofort mit meiner Freundin zum Frühstück dort traf. Wir fanden das Café äusserst liebevoll und zugleich mit dem gewissen "Extra" ausgestattet.... Die Karte hat von verschiedenen Varianten Kaffee, Tee, Frühstück oder kleine Tagesgerichte alles zu bieten. Man sitzt an kleinen Tischen bis hin zu gemütlichen Sofaecken. Die Bedienung ist nett und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück bot leckeres Fluit, Marmelade, etwas Wurst, Käse, aber auch einen leckeren Joghurt. Das Ei mußte man sich extra bestellen. Mein Mann, der später hinzu kam, bestellte sich aus der Tageskarte ein Steinpilz-Ravioli in Olivenoel mit Parmesan ( sehr fein ). Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt! Allerdings werden die Getränke in zu kleinen Mengen ( Café Latte oder Aperol-Sprizz ) für mich als überteuert angeboten. Das einzige Manko dieses sehr hübschen Cafés!!!"

"I don't know how many times we went to the Galopprennbahn or over the French border 300m behind the K.F.Scheich Ristorante race track, it could have been the hundred times without stopping and going back. Since its opening 20 years ago, this restaurant has enjoyed a very good reputation over the borders of Saarbrücken in terms of upscale cuisine. K.F stands for Karl Friedrich, because this is the name of the operator and cook Mr. Scheich. He and his restaurant claim to be one of the best addresses for Mediterranean cuisine within the city.
