"We live close to San Remo and almost always bring our children with us (ages 7 and 10 yrs). It is a quiet restaurant, although welcomes children (kids menus, crayons), even those who aren't quiet (like ours!). Try the truffle popcorn appetizer - it's out of this world! The wine menu is wonderful too (which is necessary when dealing with children - lol).We have also been here for date nights and large group Christmas parties - all of which were great."

"Stopped in for happy hour wine and a board - unbelievable amount and quality of charcuterie for a measly $25. However the very small portion of bread, which we had 2 of, adds $3 each time to your bill. Will go back for sure though, server was fantastic"

"Service for Us was a little stiff! Wine selection average.Meatballs were very good.Americana pizza was delicious!Apparently --very busy for lunch. We experienced basically an open room.Parking not great.A lot of pizza competition in YYC, so may not return right away.Very handy location for delivery to the Hotel Arts."

"My brother and his wife came to Calgary and wanted to take us out for good Italian fare. I selected Abruzzo. My brother claims to be an expert on fine Italian dining.He was extremely impressed by the quality and tenderness of the veal in his Parmigiana dish. His wife loved her Cannelloni.I had Veal Marsala, which is not on the menu for some reason but they will prepare it for you if they have the needed ingredients in house. It was absolutely FANTASTIC!We all had a great evening and the food made it even better."

"During the pandemic, we cost the convenience of ordering dinner for the takeover. we were very pleased with our special weekend to celebrate our annual day consisting of roasted asparagus salad, Tuscan bark stew, yams with artichokes and a delicious carrot cake...with mascarpone cheese factory. the aromen were delicious and each dish was well prepared. we know that the black olives (for the salad) and the candied pecans for dessert) were packaged separately to fulfill our taste. simply for the extraction, only the one-pot and the yam bowl had to heat. the parts were big and we have enough for rest. we will order again and look forward to dining on the terrace,"

"After living in Calgary all these years, I never thought to try out Olive Garden until a friend suggested eating here. I didn't expect much, but I cam away very satisfied. First of all, the restaurant was packed. All the staff members were running on high nonstop. Our server was always on the run, yet she took time to greet us and made sure we were taken care of. She was always happy and it made our meals better. Hands down my win for the night was the Zuppa Tuscana soup. It was bottomless and I had 2 bowls. I would have had another if I didn't try another soup in between. Mind you, the Pasta E Fagioli soup was delicious too, but the Zuppa Tuscana made my night. Next time we are here (and I know we are coming back), I'm going for the unlimited soup and salad. I don't care for the salad so it's unlimited soup for me at Olive Garden from now on! I also ordered the Chicken Parmigiana which was decent. The chicken was very crispy and the speghetti was expected. The sauce was not exceptional, but the chicken is clearly the star. My wife ordered the Shrimp Scampi which she said was light and refreshing. She enjoyed it. Our friend, who is the reason we were here, was the clear expert as she got the Soup and Salad combo. It's her favorite and now mine!"
