"I moved to singleton. first visit. friendly staff. fast service. we had 4 appetizers so we could share and taste. the foide was fresh and tasty. we will be back in a definitiv. the only disappointment was the mahito. it was nothing like a mahito. it was more like a limonade with a juice of lemon juice and 2 spices of mint. $17 rediculous. they study how to make the drink so that others are not disappointed."

"The $20 lunch special includes a glass of wine/beer/soft drink of your choice as well as a select menu of popular dishes. I had the grilled fish and salad and my friend had the ploughman's plate. The fish fillet was cooked well and good quality, salad was perfect size for lunch. Ploughman's plate was a bit disappointing as the ham and cheese were not great quality. Service was really good, thanks Charlie for taking good care of us."

"Went for a Christmas lunch prawn cocktail was very tasty but main dish of turkey was very disappointing although sauce was lovely the vegetables were very inconsistent in size so cooked unevenly and not very pleasant at all"

"We visited Mandurah over the long weekend and were really happy with this place (2 adults and 4 kids). Firstly, the staff were really warm and welcoming. Not always the way when you turn up with 4 kids! They checked on us regularly and were very helpful with any questions we had. Second, the menu allowed us as adults to have a Nepalese meal while our children tried the chicken parmigiana...both were delicious! And I am Burmese/Indian so I know good curry ;-) but it's rare to find a specialty restaurant that also does western food that isn't sub standard...we were really happy with everything we ordered. The lamb Saag was definitely a standout. We would be happy to return next time we're in town. Keep up the good work Alfresco"

"What's not to like? The menu featured a wide range of authentic dishes, the food was delicious, with generous serves, and the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. A staff member took the time to discuss the delights of mustard oil with my family group and even gave us the Indian name of the product, and possible suppliers. Adding to the whole experience, was a lovely waterside view. This is the second time my family have eaten there, and with both experiences being tremendous, we'll definitely return. One thing.... their liquor license was pending so if a glass of wine, or whatever is desired, it was BYO. This might change in the near future so best to phone/email and enquire."
