"Sharkeys Chophouse at Lonsdale Quay in North Vancouver is a place to go for lunch if your craving a big, meaty, starchy meal. I had been hearing about it from my co-workers for quite sometime so I decided to go with them a week ago. I ordered the regular meal which was $8.95 inc. tax. I had the fresh carved roast sirloin, 2 chicken drumsticks, mashed potatoes with gravy and perogies with sour cream and fried onions. WOW, what a feast at lunch time. Food was hot and fresh and every bite was delicious. There are many choices from salads to steamed potatoes to pork roast, ham, ribs etc..the menu changes daily. I can't wait to go back, but I have to give my diet a chance too lol!!"

"Two tips when picking up a salad here. Get there before noon so that you get first choice of the fresh food don't overload your container you will pay $17 for your salad otherwise! Excellent fresh salads and fruits. Keep it healthy Vancouver!"

"I am disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I ordered the full turkey sandwich with soup and requested to add beets. Upon payment I was told that nothing can be added to sandwiches and was asked if this is ok? after already waiting 20...minutes for my meal to go it was not ok really, but what else can I say after I 've expired my lunch hour waiting. I was told that the pickled cucumber is all I get. For $16 I would have hoped for more than one single pickle slice (updated: there was an extra pickle slice on the other half of the sandwich). Also, the turkey sandwich appeared and tasted like some kind of old tuna for which it 's only saving grace were the scatterings of olive tapenade (highlighted in attached photos). The butternut squash is nothing to write home about either; watered down and utterly bland, I would not order this again or recommend it. Butternut squash is my favorite soup selection and this was sorely disappointing. I think for this price point I would have expected some input in the sandwich content (to be allowed to purchase beets at additional cost) and a slightly more generous helping of pickles. Overall wait time was 35 minutes, so do not expect fast service."
