"We booked for 8 adults and 4 children for Sunday lunch. They were very busy, but coped admirably with our various demands. The food was really excellent, the portions very large, and the prices very reasonable indeed. Despite being busy the service was first class. We ate outside on the terrasse, right at the top of Barolo next to the castle. It was a great spot, and lots of space for the children to okay whilst parents enjoyed a long slow meal. The menu was really interesting, with great choices of regional, food. Definately highly recommended!"

"There are a surprisingly small number of places for a quick cup of coffee in Barolo but if you like pretending your a local when you're on holiday then this is the one for you. Lots of children and cheery locals and while it's nothing flash you can sit outside and have a perfectly serviceable morning coffee."
